Sustainability Engineer

Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Sustainability Engineer.

What you'll do:

Lead the Carbon Neutral Operations strategy at Eaton Haina MCB. It include prioritize, evaluate, plan and improve sustainability projects and ensure efficient operations in the site equipment ( medium and low voltage electrical systems, this includes machinery, transformers, generation equipment, distribution circuits and other electricity-related devices)
The main focus will be implement and track capital/expense projects that reduce electricity through more efficient and automated manufacturing equipment and technologies as well as building envelope and system improvements

Job Responsibilities

1. Design electrical systems in compliance with safety standards (ENHESA, NFPA, NEC), functionality and reliability

2. Perform circuit simulations and analysis to ensure compliance with technical specifications and applicable regulations
3. Supervise the installation of electrical equipment and systems to ensure they meet quality and safety standards
4. Manage projects from conception to completion, including cost estimating, planning and progress monitoring.
5. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement innovative solutions that improve energy efficiency and minimize negative environmental impact
6. Stay up to date with emerging sustainable technologies and practices to integrate them into the organization's process and operations
7. Perform analysis and evaluations of equipment and systems to ensure efficient use of energy
8. Monitor and analyze compliance with environmental regulations/standards proposing corrective actions when necessary
9. Keep the plant's one-line diagram updated
10. Ensure adequate preventive and predictive maintenance of the electrical system
11. Implement alternative methods to eliminate the release of Sulfur Hexaflouride (SF6), a potent and persistent greenhouse gas
12. Deploy on-site solar panels, energy storage and microgrids.Renewables to the grid through off-site utility scale solar and wind projects.
13. BMS management for plant energy profile optimization.
14. Data Analysis, Consumption Trends and Load Profile

Qualifications:

Education level required
Electrical engineering, , Industrial engineering or areas related.
a) Preferable: Advanced knowledge of local and international electrical regulations and standards.
b) Preferable: Ability to use specialized assisted design software for electrical design, Autocad Electrical
c) English: Conversational advanced

Years and area of experience required
• 2 years experience preferably in electrical system designs and electrical maintenance
• 1 Year in project management

Skills:

Technical knowledge

Internattional Standard: NFPA 70, 70E, 70B, NEC, ISO 14001.
Knowledge of PC: Microsoft Office 365, Auto Cad
BMS Building Management System or CMMS Computerized Maintenance Management System
Excellent communication skills.
