Eaton's Electrical Sector is looking for a Supply Chain Supervisor to work at our São Paulo's office.

This position requires some assistance at our Porto Feliz' plant some days of the month.

What you'll do:

Job summary

Manage all the key supply chain related functions being responsible for purchasing, materials planning, SIOP, inventory and warehouse management, import & export, shipping and receiving, customs and trade compliance, supply chain optimization, supporting effectively our customer service and project areas to meet Sales and Inventory objectives, in accordance with the supply chain management operational directives and guidelines, as well as support and actively drive Hi-5 targets focusing on safety, quality, delivery and inventory management.

Job responsibilities

Team management planning: leadership and management of teams responsible for planning and production control, setting objectives and goals, monitoring performance, developing skills and competencies, among other activities related to people management.
Coordinate the SIOP process Ensuring collaboration and alignment between sales, operations, finance and other teams.
Define goals and objectives: establish business, financial and operational goals, ensuring that they are aligned with the company's strategies.
Collect and Analyze Data: Collect, analyze, and interpret data from sales, operations, finance, and other areas to support the SIOP process.
Manage Inventory: Manage inventory to ensure product availability, minimize excess inventory, and ensure financial targets are met.
Communicating Results: Communicating the results of the SIOP process to senior management so they can make informed decisions about resource allocation and other important issues.
Monitor Performance: :zMonitor the performance of the SIOP process and implement continuous improvements.
Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant policies, regulations and laws.
Collaborate with Other Areas: Collaborate with other areas, such as marketing and product development, to ensure that SIOP plans are aligned with the company's strategy.
Strategic plan in logistics: develop and implement logistics plans to meet the company's needs.
Team management Logistic: lead and manage logistics teams, training and developing employees to meet the company's objectives.
Cost control: Ensuring that the company's logistics are carried out efficiently and economically, controlling transport, storage and distribution costs.
Risk management: Identify and manage logistical risks, such as breakdowns or delivery delays.
Supplier management: identifying, evaluating and selecting reliable suppliers and negotiating contracts with them.
Purchasing planning: creating a strategic purchasing plan to ensure the company purchases the products and services it needs at the right time, in the right quantity, and at the right price.
Market analysis: research and analyze the market to identify trends, prices and innovations in products and services that can benefit the company.
Quality assurance: ensuring product quality by monitoring supplier performance and implementing quality control procedures.

Qualifications:

Education level required

  • Bachelor's degree required. Post-Graduation or Master's Degree in related career desirable
  • Advanced/ Fluent English

Years and area of experience required

  • Solid experience in SIOP, Inventory, Purchase, Comex
  • People management experience
