Eaton's AER MSD Mission System Division is currently seeking a Sr. Facilities & Capital Manager in Davenport IA.

The Sr. Facilities & Capital Manager is responsible for the proper operations and maintenance of all building, grounds, technical service functions and facilities capital expenditure planning and execution.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $108749.97 - $159499.96 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

• Develop, maintain, and execute to site capex budget in conjunction with finance.
• Plan, design, and oversees the reconfiguration, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, structures, and other facilities.
• Coordinates with Operations and external engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawings.
• Composes and submits Capital Appropriation Requests for acquisition of facilities-related equipment.
• Prepares SOW's and coordinate bid walks for RFQ process.
• Reviews and estimates design costs including equipment, installation, materials, preparation, and other related costs.
• Inspects or directs the inspection of construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Oversee leadership and guidance to ensure that plant equipment and maintenance systems function in a safe and efficient manner.
• Develop and maintain maintenance programs for all production areas and coordinating internal labor and external contractors.
• Improve site asset productivity and reliability with a focus on reducing equipment downtime through analysis to improve the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), including preventative and predictive maintenance.
• Develops and maintains an operating budget to ensure that all necessary maintenance is carried out on a cost-effective basis and other tasks necessary to track and/or report on budgetary developments.
• Administer an efficient and effective facility management program by establishing work requirements, coordinating, planning, prioritizing, and successfully completing short- and long-term projects.
• Maintain facility layout master drawing for use by all the production and engineering teams, coordinating cell-level and lab layouts, common areas, etc.
• Ensure compliance with Eaton's Environmental, Health, and Safety objectives while meeting facilities performance targets.
• Initiate and participate in continuous improvement actives. Participate as required in problem solving teams, kaizen events, and TPM events, cross functional committees, and multi-discipline programs.
• Facilitate root cause problem solving of equipment / facilities related issues.
• Administer direct supervisory responsibility for assigned personnel including selection, hiring, training, work scheduling, performance evaluations, and promotion recommendations.
• Gathers and reviews data concerning facility or equipment specifications, company, or government restrictions, required completion date, and construction feasibility.
• Works with the Safety, Health and Environmental team to review energy usage and waste data, proposes and executes projects to minimize the site's environmental footprint and related costs.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum five (5) years of experience as a Facilities / Project Manager
• Minimum three (3) years of experience managing/supervising a team.
• Prior experience with equipment installation and product line relocation.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. "Green Card Holder"), Political Asylee or Refugee.
• No relocation will be offered for this position. Only candidates who reside within a 70 mile radius of the Davenport, IA facility will be considered for this position. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field from an accredited institution.
• Prior experience with Lean 6-Sigma/Continuous Improvement best practices
• Prior experience working in an Aerospace/MFG environment.
• Experience creating specifications, statements of work and requesting accurate quotations (inc. equipment justifications and capital requests).
• Prior experience Capital planning.
• Technical knowledge and experience in mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and/or fire suppression systems.
• Prior experience supervising / managing in a union environment.
