Job Summary
Eaton Corporation has an opening for a Specialist UX Designer- AI in its Innovation and Partnership Value Stream. The primary responsibility of the AI Analyst is to work with business teams, functional teams, project deployment teams, Eaton customers, and IT staff to design, implement, and optimize Eaton's AI-driven experiences. This team is responsible for building a world-class AI experience: seamless, easy to navigate, and optimized to meet the information needs of our customers.
The successful candidate will research, design, model, test, and analyze the experience around AI solutions. They will conduct qualitative and quantitative research, engaging with users/customers and drawing analytics insights. They are responsible for helping the business make decisions based on the value and impact of AI-driven solutions. They may contribute to AI research reports, User personas, and Customer journey maps. They will advocate for users' needs and perspectives towards various internal stakeholders, such as other designers, developers, marketers, and executives. They will test and improve AI solutions by conducting evaluative research, such as usability and user testing.

Job Description
- This role will lead the gathering of insights and capability needs from a diverse set of stakeholders across marketing, data analytics, IT, and operational leaders and bring them to life through AI solutions.
- Leverage latest UX trends to support creation of digital experiences for persona-based journeys
- Leverage Eaton's journey methodology and findings, by persona, industry type and region, to test and optimize the best possible UX
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative research and engage with users/customers often.
- Leverage web data analytics, research and web visitor feedback insights to clearly identify pain points and gaps in the customer experience and define actions to address
- Participate in agile methodology (scrum or kanban) ceremonies to conduct work
- Work with IT and marketing stakeholders to drive ongoing understanding of and compliance with UX practices
- Work in partnership with divisional and regional business process owners to define problems and user stories
- Provide knowledge and input on the system implications of user interface changes.
- Strong communication skills - able to interact with senior level leaders at divisional or regional level. Able to explain complex system issues and decision points using common business language (without using IT terms and language)

- The individual should have a broad understanding of digital platforms and web user experience
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 8 years' relevant UX experience
Skills:
- Experience using design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, InVision, Figma
- Experience of experience design for AI solutions like Chatbots and AI Agents.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript & developing platforms
- Experience in defining UX frameworks, including user research, developing user flows and journies, and conducting usability tests
- Experience in large-scale Application development and/or management
- Understanding of SCRUM/ agile software development methodology
- Strong self-management skills and positive attitude
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects with great attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills - clear, persuasive, and inspiring in both written and verbal communication
- Demonstrable ability to meet tight deadlines, multi-task, and prioritize
- Must be comfortable presenting ideas to senior level stakeholders, receptive of feedback and quick to apply changes
- Adaptable in fast, sometimes ambiguous environment
- Experience working with global cultures, organizations and teams
