What you'll do:
"The Innovation Framework Specialist/Coach will play a critical role in fostering innovation within the company by guiding teams through the innovation lifecycle, from opportunity development to the handover stage (Gate 0). The role involves coaching cross-functional teams, simplifying and tailoring the innovation process to fit business needs, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards. The position requires strong facilitation skills, deep knowledge of innovation management frameworks, and the ability to adapt global innovation guidelines to local business environments.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Innovation Management system with hands on experience of various Innovation processes being followed in Eaton as well as within external industries. This role will be based in Engineering Operational Excellence team at EIIC, Pune."

"Coaching and Facilitation:
• Provide guidance to innovation teams on processes and tools, facilitating sessions to develop opportunities.
• Moderate and lead innovation workshops, supporting teams in opportunity development.
• Act as a coach to remove obstacles and simplify processes based on business specifics.
Process Management:
• Oversee the innovation framework, ensuring it remains adaptable to changing business needs while maintaining alignment with corporate guidelines.
• Customize and manage the innovation toolbox for each phase of the process, allowing for flexibility in execution.
• Coordinate with the innovation communications team to disseminate updates on processes and tools.
Platform and Data Model Management:
• Manage and update the ITONICS platform, responsible for creating and modifying data models.
• Customize templates and canvases, such as the Problem Statement template, to ensure they meet project requirements.
Training Development:
• Develop and deliver training programs on innovation processes through platforms like Eaton University.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 56001 (Innovation Management System) in all innovation activities.
Cross-functional Coordination:
• Work with cross-functional teams, including R&D, engineering, and product development, to ensure smooth transitions through various innovation stages.
• Update innovation strategy processes and align with corporate objectives, ensuring the smooth handover at Gate 0 in the PROLaunch process.
Innovation Communication:
• Collaborate on communication strategies related to innovation initiatives, ensuring clarity and engagement across the organization.

Qualifications:
"Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical/Electronics preferred) with demonstrated experience in Innovation Management processes.
Certifications in Innovation Management, Design Thinking, or related methodologies preferred."
"12~15 years of experience with multinational engineering organization of which 5+ years of experience in innovation management, R&D, or a similar role within an industrial or engineering-focused company.
Skills:
Demonstrated experience in facilitating innovation sessions and coaching teams through the innovation process.
Familiarity with innovation platforms like ITONICS or similar tools."
"System thinking: Understanding of interplay between different components of organization systems.
Data Analytics: Proficiency in data analytics tools to derive actionable insights from databases
Deep understanding of innovation management systems, including compliance with ISO 56001.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Familiar with project management methodologies like Agile, Scrum & tools like JIRA
Software knowledge: Better understanding of Data Models concept, SW Programing skills allow to link the platform to other tools through API
Adaptability and flexibility to adjust innovation processes to align with specific business environments."
