The expected annual salary range for this role is $105000.03 - $154000.04 a year.

Position Overview:
The Specialist IT will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance on Data Analytics projects across Eaton Enterprise programs driving direction and continuous improvement. Integration and Data Management (IDM) team comprises of experienced resources (full time employees and contractors) who work on a broad range of business-critical programs in Data and analytics domain which require data to be integrated across systems or consolidated within various enterprise data warehouses/repositories in addition to analytics and visual reporting capabilities. The candidate should have a solid grounding in IT process, excellent technical acumen, strong business process knowledge, and the curiosity and drive to consistently deliver results that leverage and improve upon existing standards and best practices. The candidate must be highly self-motivated with strong communication skills and the ability to guide others in ambiguous situations.
Job Responsibilities:
• Work with Global teams across Value Chains in IT and business entities to address Data Analytics and visualization need of the organization aligned with Eaton's Data strategy.
• Must have experience in executing and delivering key IT programs. Provide oversight on the Overall Data and Analytics strategy.
• Demonstrable experience in technical design and development as Data Engineering and visualization expert. Creates robust and automated data pipelines using traditional and modern data integration technologies, including ETL/ELT, data replication/CDC, streaming, message-oriented data movement and API-based data acquisition leveraging cloud native toolset.
• Lead the technical architecture and design activities. Drives the delivery of solutions from initiation through development, validation, go-live and user adoption.
• Own and drive Data Quality activities. Ensure quality of work deliverables.
• Provides operational support and assistance for Data Integration and Analytics applications.
• Collaborates with Development, Support and Platform teams to deliver projects/Operational activities.
• Assess vendors and collaborate with broader IT team to ensure solutions align with global IT/business strategy.
• Coach, advise and guide Business/IT teams on best practices in deploying Data and Analytics technologies to drive productivity, growth & efficiency.
• Translating complex functional, technical, and business requirements into easy-to-understand user stories, detail technical design and architecture.
• Regularly communicates and reinforces status, prioritization, and timing back to project, program and organizational leaders of critical success measures, issues, and mitigation strategies.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 6 years of data engineering or application management experience required
• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Skills:
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience on data platforms such as: Snowflake, Azure, PowerBi
• Experience working with Kafka preferred.
• Experience working on enterprise data projects (data warehouses/master data management, others) with hands-on data analysis, and profiling skills using SQL.
• Experience with Agile and DevOps processes
Position Criteria:
• Strong SQL skills and advance knowledge of Power BI
• Strong programming skills (Java, Python, Spark).
• Strong understanding of Data Integration technologies.
• Good understanding of API-First architecture.
• Ability to lead as the subject matter expertise in the space through diagnosing, isolating, and resolving complex issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems
• Ability to adapt to the situation and pivot based on changing priorities
• Ability to identify operational issues and proactively solutions to resolve problems.
• Ability to drive application modernization and enablement
• Experience establishing & maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels in an organization.
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills and drive for results.
• 10% travel required.
