We are looking for a Software Product Manager to drive the business growth and margin improvements for PQ's Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS) and Brightlayer Software Suite. The successful candidate will provide product expertise on the offering, positioning, vitality, and roadmap for EPMS and Brightlayer, ensuring growth in revenue streams whilst maximising margin return.

This is a great opportunity for a subject matter expert in software and hardware products for power monitoring systems. A highly autonomous role, we are looking for a product manager who can leverage resources and manage multiple stakeholders both external and internal.

Key Duties:

  • Managing the software and hardware product line to meet business unit revenue & margin objectives.
  • Develop strategies to enter new markets and grow market share in existing markets.
  • Coordinate marketing campaigns and promotions.
  • Train the sales and support team(s) to select and offer the correct software products & solutions for various applications and promote key elements of the value proposition.
  • Train and supports channel partners to achieve incremental growth targets.
  • Build close relationships with APAC & Global internal stakeholders (product line managers, buying team, R&D teams)
  • Provide technical support to the sales teams, sales support and customers. Advises sales staff and customers on product selection and application.
  • Forecast and controls inventory to ensure there is satisfactory stock to satisfy sales demand whilst keeping stock turns to plan.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 to 3 years of product management experience with software electronics products
  • Knowledge of networking and industrial protocols like SNMP, Modbus, TCP/IP, BACNET etc.
  • Proficient with operating systems like Linux, Windows, Redhat etc.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Electrical or Software Engineering.
