What you'll do:

The Project Lead will fulfill a critical role within the EMEA ES SCM organization, supporting successful delivery of strategic change projects driving growth of of our centers of excellence, through implementing SCM full scope and end to end processes across all business divisions and functions within the EMEA region and working collaboratively with other SCM centres and EMEA process owners across Eaton.

While managing all aspects of mapping SCM activities including standardization and system implementations and optimizations, the Project Lead will report directly to the SCM manager in EMEA ES CoE. This key role will investigate and deliver SCM solutions and execute on a diverse portfolio of projects partnering with multiple functions across EMEA. It requires strong project and change management skills, continuous improvement skills, systems technical expertise and strong customer focus to deliver effective end to end solutions. Prepare documentation and knowledge sharing plan (including trainings).

  • Project manage the portfolio of projects using existing project management methodologies
  • Lead and drive As-Is analysis, identify process and system implementation requirements, compare with best practice and support implementation activities with domain responsibility
  • Lead a group of subject matter experts in delivering the project objectives.
  • Plan, coordinate and maintain activities with all impacted organizations
  • Monitor and report assigned project status information
  • Use ProLaunch and related Entry Gate Criteria
  • Partner with business users and leadership on requirements, processes and systems
  • Communicates effectively status for deliverables to project management and leadership to effectively mitigate risks and resolve issues.
  • Has a strong basis of project management
  • Work with functional and business leads to ensure all processes transition in the same high quality way using EBS
  • Key understanding of Front End business and project management
  • Implement front end EBS, pro launch, process transition methodology tailored to Business Service Center
  • Execute with business leaders consistent transition project plans to ensure success and drive faster implementation for high quality production, quality, on-time, service, and cost metrics
  • Quality management and Business Process Improvement framework for transitioned processes, ongoing operational improvements.
  • Drive common business process and tools in migration and transition activities
  • Identify and propose KPIs, measurements
  • Participate in development and delivery of communications regarding program activities
  • Review solution plans, confirm capabilities, priorities and or gaps

Qualifications:

  • BSc College degree
  • Nice to have PMI, SCRUM experience
  • 3+ years project management

Skills:

  • Project management experience and proven track record
  • International experience, Multicultural sensitivity
  • Fluency in English
  • Strong communication skills
