Eaton's ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Site Quality Manager in El Paso, TX.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $105000.03 - $154000.04 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
What you'll do:
• Responsible to coordinate/supervise directly or indirectly the Quality Engineers/Supervisors, assistants, Document Control clerks, Calibration Technicians, Quality Coordinators and other members of the department; as applicable.
• Manage the improvement and prepare reports with all the quality performance indicators of the operation: Customer DPPM, Internal PPM, Supplier PPM, Validation and Test Audit data, Internal Quality Alerts, Non-conforming material quality Communication, external component quality alerts, and A3s, 3ups as needed

• Plan, execute and sustain EQMLI and ISO 9001 certification, plus other third-party certifications as applicable to the business.
• Ensure that process changes needed for the Quality Management System are controlled, implemented, and maintained as applicable.
• Support New Product Development validation in Operations as well as support any plant -to-plant or Business-to-Business, product line transition using ProLaunch program.
• Ensure Tailored Development programs are being accomplished by all Quality Personnel, in alignment with EQMS / OpA criteria requirement.
• Support the OpA local assessment, the Quality Functional Review and the Q-LOR at the set frequency.
• Participate in different forums to support Plant Operation Excellence, Plant Operating Reviews, supplemental Management review meetings and Division Operational Reviews Support
• Productions and Leadership Team meetings preparation and Support
• Lead the Quality System Internal Audits Program preparation, execution, and improvement.
• Drive continuous improvement through accomplishment of KSO assigned projects.
• Responsible to establish, develop and execute cost saving projects -mainly CONC reduction- and quality projects and improvements at the manufacturing lines.
• Responsible for control implementation in manufacturing processes, drive pFMEA analysis and RPN reductions, Measurement System Analysis, Process Capabilities and overall CAPA effective implementation.
• For Customer Complaints, the Plant Quality Manager is responsible for all containment actions and leading the problem solving CAPA teams for root cause analysis evaluation and implementation of corrective and preventive actions at the manufacturing processes.
• When Non-conforming parts are introduced into the assembly processes, the Plant Quality Manager is responsible to make sure that the preliminary analysis are properly completed by the Quality Supervisors, the containment of all non-conforming parts in WIP and other locations in the plant is completed, that the initial Non-Conformance reports are communicated to the supplier and that disposition is given based on the impact of the NC to the process &/or product
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of Quality experience
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Fully Bilingual (English / Spanish)
- Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship now or in the future.
- No relocation benefits is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within 50 miles of the El Paso, TX facility will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PC knowledge: Microsoft Office, Access, and AS400, Minitab, Vista,
- Knowledge: Lean Tools, 6 Sigma and Technical Statistics
- ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor
- PROLaunch tools knowledge
- CAPA knowledge: 8D, 5 why, Ishikawa, Pareto
