Eaton's ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Shipping and Receiving Lead to join our team at the Wilsonville, OR site!
The hourly rate for this position is $27.00 per hour.

The core hours are 6am - 3pm.
What you'll do:
The Shipping and Receiving Lead is responsible for providing customer service as required for the Portland Power Center with lead responsibilities over the shop's Material Handling team. Provide Clerical and other manufacturing support as required.

A. Lead daily Tier 1 meetings for the shipping and receiving team and report on any misses
B. Allocate staffing based on estimated inbound material to be received
C. Answer any questions that may arise from the shipping and receiving team
D. Be well versed in all of the processes for the shipping and receiving team to better lead and direct the team
E. Ability to record KPI's and report out on them
F. Ability to make sure that the shipping and receiving team is hitting their goals and to report out on why they may not be
G. Checking in with others on the shipping and receiving team to see if they have any questions, need direction, or need support.
H. Communicate effectively with the PLC's and Close Out Team Leads to better understand the progress of jobs that are going to ship out
I. Ability to read the Hotsheet and make sure that the Shipping and Receiving Team is aware important parts that are arriving
J. Ability to reinforce the importance of quality inspections of incoming parts
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree) from an accredited institution is required.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future.
• No relocation is being offered for this role. All candidates considered must live within 50 miles of the Wilsonville, OR facility. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in either a production role or a material handling role required
• Prior experience as an area lead
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment (inventory, receiving, production)
• Knowledge of Kanban, Vista, AS400 or related order-management system
• Certified to operate a forklift
Skills:
• Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and typing ability
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Must be able to work in a team-based environment
• Must possess the ability to prioritize and organize
• Must have capability to obtain a Forklift certification
• Must have capability to obtain a Crane certification
