What you'll do:

As Services Operations Manager you will develops and manages the Eaton Service and Operations in Norway reporting to Nordic Service Operations Manager.
You will be managing a team of 15+ direct reports (Team Leaders, Service Coordinator & Field Service Engineers), who are covering various installation, commissioning, maintenance and related tasks in UPS, electrical, critical infrastructure, life safety and other areas.

Role is responsible for running and developing service operations, whilst applying the Eaton standard work practices. You will participate to Nordics cluster activities, management, development and cooperation is essential part of the work.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the highest level of safety standards are implemented and aligned with Eaton's Zero Incident Safety Culture as well as national guidelines and procedures.
  • Management of Service and Operations team, ensuring the compliance to EHS regulations, field audits, and delivering regular task related trainings.
  • Develops, inspires, motivates and manages the team in line with the Eaton Leadership Model to achieve business goals.
  • Defines performance metrics and evaluates and interprets data to drive performance improvement and productivity throughout the organisation.
  • Drives Operational Standardization across the Country, including improvements in field engineering, back office functions and service coordination in the Cluster and Budapest BSC
  • Act as senior escalation point for customer (technical and operational), coordinating with available teams to resolves issues (factories, technical teams and EMEA Services).
  • Facilate as applicable in the implementation and delivery of improved Field Service Systems
  • Contribute to the EMEA Service Strategic Plan to ensure growth and sustained profitability in line with Eaton's overall stategic goals - paritcularly focused on EMEA productivity expectations.
  • Interact with the EMEA Central Service Operation Manager on standards implementation, and participate in identifying, defining best practices and new standards.

Qualifications:

  • Technical education in electrical or mechanical, Bachelor of Electrical engineering is an advantage
  • Extensive technical service industry knowledge
  • Experience in leading larger team and complex operation (ideally: critical infrastructure, utility, UPS, telecommunication, electrician service, life safety, etc.)
  • Basic IT skills in MS Office, knowledge in Salesforce/SAP is an advantage
  • Business fluency in English and Norwegian
  • Ability to lead, mentor and develop the local and remote team members
  • Budget management and stakeholder management knowledge
  • Process and solution focused attitude
