Eaton's Electrical Sector is currently seeking a Service Sales Specialist to join the team. This role will be based in Ottawa, ON and offers benefits from Day 1.

What you'll do:
The primary function of the Services Sales Specialist is to sell services, both manpower and products, to customers in the targeted market areas. You will be responsible to achieve consistent sales goals with minimal supervision. This includes building strong customer relationships and creating holistic, solutions-based electrical service proposals for End Users, Industrial Customers, Distributors and Contractors. You will perform all functions with adherence to Eaton's Philosophy and Values, as well as the Safety and Environmental standards.

Success in this role hinges on the candidate's ability to comprehend electrical power distribution and control systems, proactively identify high-potential customers and opportunities, convert complex customer problems into attractive solutions, and leverage a broad set of internal and external resources to close orders. This role requires up to 25% travel.
Essential Functions Include:
- Customer Support - Provide accurate and timely quotations and technical assistance to the assigned customers in areas of installation, start-up, maintenance, repair, training and modification on power transmission, distribution and generation equipment and systems. Manage all aspects of the relationship with assigned customers (end-users, contractors, distributors and industrial/OEMs). Prepare and present detailed quotations to customers using Eaton's price and delivery guidelines and use sound business judgment to enhance price realization.
- Territory Management - Develop and execute a strategic plan to meet aggressive sales goals. Plan promotional events and presentations with distributor personnel to promote Eaton Services. Build Relationships with key customers to enhance Eaton's long-term business prospects. Utilize sales software (Customer C360) by entering, monitoring and updating opportunities diligently.

Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- University degree or college diploma OR Licensed Electrician
- Minimum two (2) years of field service, sales or design engineering experience in electrical industry.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship now and in the future.
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates residing within 100 kilometers of Ottawa will be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
- University degree or college diploma in Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer or Certified Electrical Technologist designation or working towards.
- Experience in electrical industry in sales, installation, maintenance, repair, training and modifications of electrical systems.
- Ability to understand French. Speaking, reading and writing French would be an asset.
