The Power Quality (PQ) division at Eaton Electrical provides power management solutions including uninterruptable power supplies (UPS's), surge protective devices, power distribution units (PDU's), remote monitoring, software, power factor correction, airflow management, rack enclosures and services. We are looking to hire a Service Sales Manager to be responsible for all PQ Data Centre segment service sales, as well as account management and development of new services sales for existing Data Centre customers. This would be a great opportunity for an experienced account or sales manager who can develop and strengthen relationships with a variety of stakeholders from operational, service delivery and field technicians to C level suite, and ensure long-term success and client satisfaction.

What you'll do:

  • Regularly engage with clients to understand their needs, address concerns, and identify upselling opportunities.
  • Provide end user support, working with facilities and operations teams and be the primary contact for all service-related requirements outside of the service manager and service coordination roles.
  • Upselling and Cross-Selling by promoting new services and products to existing clients and maximize revenue potential.
  • Identify Growth Areas by analyzing market trends and client feedback to identify areas for expansion.
  • Focus on service sales growth and build long term service contracts for Preventative Maintenance and other services including such areas as battery upgrades, replacements etc.
  • Work with client to identify EOL components and communicate internally to the key account manager on quotes required for system replacements.
  • Set and track sales targets to align with company objectives.
  • Assist with ongoing services and scheduling implementation and assist with ensuring details are implemented and coordinated in both the internal systems and external client communications.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in sales, business development or account management related roles.
  • Knowledge and experience of Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), Data Centre industry experience is highly desirable.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, teamworking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven customer focus and strong organisational skills.
