Senior Supplier Quality Engineer

What you'll do:

This is a role whose all work is aim to guarantee supplier product/services meet Eaton's requirement from quality perspective
Leadship to guide suppliers' quality improvement
1.ASL management, completes new supplier survey, fail supplier phase out and ASL maintenance
2.Supporting RD/ME to approve new parts, handling supplier PFA, PPAP, FAI running.
3.New supplier qualification and vendor selection in new projects.
4.Set up or make improvement of incoming inspection criteria, sample plan, optimize material standards or criteria.
5.Periodic supplier rating & assessment. Monitor and report suppliers' quality performance.
6.Manages non-conformance. Assists supplier in their development and implementation of action plan.

1. At least 10 years related working experience in manufacturing plant, among which 5 years experience of supplier quality management is required.
2. Experiences of new supplier qualification and new part releasing
3. Familiar with ISO9001 quality system. Supplier audit skill and practice is required.
4. Good skill in quality tools used, special for SPC, MSA, FMEA (P/D) VDA6.3 etc. practiced 8D, FAI, PPAP and QCP is required.
5. Good knowledge of raw material technology, plastic/ steel/ copper/ silver etc
6. Familiar with machining, stamping, molding, PCBA manufacture process and quality control methods.
7. Knowledge of IATF16949, ISO 14000 and six sigma is preferred.
8. Knowledge of lower power control device or vacuum interrupt is preferred.
9. Speaking English and is able to coordinate a conference call with global suppliers
10. Drive for results & make decisions.
11. Good communication skills and willing to cooperate with other cross-function team
