What you'll do:

  • Oversee and drive all sales activities related to offshore projects in 3 shipyards across Korea. This role demands a strategic approach to expanding our market presence, developing new business opportunities, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets.
  • Responsible for identifying potential customers, understanding their needs, and presenting tailored solutions that align with our product offerings. This includes preparing and delivering compelling presentations and proposals, managing customer accounts, and negotiating contracts.
  • Involves staying abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements to inform sales strategies. Participate in various marketing events, trade shows to enhance their knowledge and network.
  • Provide outstanding customer service, offering support and guidance to clients, and effectively resolving any issues that arise. Proactive in gathering customer feedback, contributing to product development discussions, and recommending enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and drive sales growth.
  • Product Range: EX proof(explosion-proof) Products like Industrial Lighting, PNL, LCS, JB, Plug & Receptacles, etc.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies tailored to the offshore projects market in Korea. Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the offshore and marine sectors.
  • Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients. Promote and sell EX proof products such as light fixtures, cable glands, junction boxes, control stations, and power distribution. Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and sales contracts. Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve sales targets and maximize profits.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key clients in the shipbuilding industry. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction. Conduct regular client meetings to review project status, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Combine technical knowledge with sales skills to effectively communicate the benefits and features of EX proof products.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for product and service improvement.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to recommend enhancements and new features based on customer needs.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve sales processes and customer experiences.
  • Conduct market to identify potential customers, new vendors, target markets, and emerging trends.
  • Monitor market, competition, and customer-specific strategic and operational factors to ensure reliable market intelligence is available to support business decisions.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers, ensuring their requirements are met.
  • Oversee the execution of offshore projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality. Coordinate with internal teams, including engineering, logistics, and customer service, to ensure seamless project implementation. Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure products are listed on vendor approval lists of major customers.
  • Ensure all sales activities comply with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Address any compliance risks and gaps in payment processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • More than 15 years' experience in Electrical related industry would be preferred.
  • Requires extensive product application knowledge for Lighting fixture, Panel board, LCS, components, as well as working knowledge of the electrical industry.
  • Requires solid negotiation skills and market knowledge including competitor products. Sales and marketing experience in product offering is highly recommended.
  • Exceptional time management skills.
  • Adaptability and flexibility.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness and ability to adapt to changing circumstances and customer needs at short notice.
  • Flexibility to travel frequently between shipyards and adjust work hours as necessary to meet client and company demands.
