We are looking forward to a Senior Sales Representative in Eaton's Electrical GEIS business, based in Tokyo, Japan. What you'll do:

  • Act as sales hunter to develop new opportunity as well as requires to manage Japan existing customers. Conduct sales activity with a spirit of pioneering new markets. Act not only to maintain existing customers but also to expand oppotunity. Promote the expansion of new products. Conduct promotional sessions and exhibitions, and carry out customer visits outside over 85% of total working load/time.
  • Develop a trust-based relationship with key regional stakeholders (Commercial, product, marketing, procurement & strategy) to ensure a clear understanding of customer needs and priorities.
  • Develop, adapt and execute a tailored strategic growth plan for account, communicate to internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment.
  • Develop opportunities on existing products to gain measurable market share as well as assess and bring new Eaton products into the business offering.
  • Update and manage price and discount structure. Communicating to all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Accurate input in to budgeting and strategic growth plans process for accounts.
  • Key project tracking and to ensure our strategical approach is coordinated and all key projects have Eaton coverage.
  • Undertake competitor tracking to ensure visibility of market share and corresponding actions are taken, feedback to internal stakeholders.
  • Ensuring that all ethical, Health and safety policies are followed and promoted within the business.
  • Business travel: 3 times per month.

Qualifications:

  • University or High school graduated
  • 5 years plus experience working as "Sales or sales Engineer" in any industrial market.
  • Fluent Japanese. Good written English and basic spoken English skills.
  • Basic technical and electric knowledge. If possible, experience working with harsh and hazardous process control, telecoms or fire and gas markets.
  • Values and places ethical and safe behavior as their first priority. Able to effectively operate & communicate in a multicultural environment.
  • Receives difficult information professionally without assigning blame. View mistakes as opportunities to learn; seek feedback and ask for help. Respect, polite behavior, accept diversity and disagree.
