What you'll do:
- Lead strategic studies, understand MV Switchgear trends, and deliver customer-centric solutions.
- Oversee R&D projects, perform design studies, and ensure technical communication across teams.
- Set ambitious targets, challenge the status quo, and promote teamwork to achieve results.
- Support product line activities, validate supplier deviations, and focus on cost optimization.
- Lead the design and development of R&D projects, including analysis studies, performance tests, prototyping, validation, and type testing. Ensure all design aspects meet customer expectations and regulatory standards.
- Work closely with various teams such as Quality, Supply Chain Management (SCM), Manufacturing (MFG), and Operational Excellence (OPEX) to address technical issues and ensure seamless project execution.
- Provide support for current product lines and new product introductions (NPI), ensuring smooth transitions and addressing any technical challenges that arise.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from engineering departments.
- Minimum 4 years in design projects, preferably in electric sector or min 2 years engineering expert on unique sectoral technical knowledge.
- Good knowledge on the kinematic, dynamic and structural analysis of mechanical systems and manufacturing methods.
- Good experience over various manufacturing methods and prototyping will be preferred.
Skills:
- Basic experience over finite elements analysis, heat&mass transfer analysis preferred. Knowledge over material properties and selection.
- Taking executive roles on Prolaunch tasks and technical solutions.
- Designing cost oriented perspective.Expert level in SolidWorks, and design data management systems, basic level in ADAMS, Inventor, AutoCad, Minitab and finite element programs (Ansys, SolidWorks simulation) preferred.
- Good communication skills and English.
