The expected annual salary range for this role is $105000.03 - $154000.04 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. The Davenport facility has 750+ (340+ bargaining unit and 400+ salaried employees) and is leader in in the design, development, manufacture and delivery of aerospace mission systems components, systems and services to the US defense and commercial global aftermarket and OEM markets. World Leader in Air to Air Refueling technology.
What you'll do:
- In this function you will:
- Ensure business processes meet all quality system, customer, and regulatory requirements and the business unit (BU) remains in good standing.
- Maintain and/or gain all require accreditations required for the successful operation and development of the business.
- Engage site leadership on cost of non-conformance (CONC) improvements in each department.
- Maintain quality standards, accreditations, and procedures using internal and external audits to measure gaps and diene improvement needs.
- Define and develop the organization's competency requirements that deliver quality policy and objective expectations.
- Set quality target, measure achievement, and facilitate process of developing action plans to address root causes of variances.
- Proactively improve quality performance by identifying areas of the business where processes need to be strengthened.
- Drives Root Cause Problem Solving (RCPS) and Eaton Zero Defects Plan (EXDP) culture throughout the organization and throughout product lifestyles.
- Drive a customer centric quality organization aligned with customer performance expectations.
- Train, mentor, and coach individuals on tool use and quality improvement objectives.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
- Minimum seven (7) years' experience managing and leading teams, processes, and improving Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience working in an AS91000 and/or ISO 9001 environment and proven ability to understand and manage quality systems and regulatory standards within a manufacturing organization.
- This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. "Green Card Holder"), Political Asylee or Refugee.
- Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Skills:
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Aerospace, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) or Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulatory experience.
- 3+ years' experience with Root Cause Analysis Tools, Lean Manufacturing, Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Lifecycle Management experience.
- 2 years' Experience with Quality Management System (QMS) Auditing.
- Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) experience, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEAs), Control Plans, Measurement System Analysis (MSA), and the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
- Strong understanding of ASME Y14.5 standard - An understanding of budgets and the estimating process
