Job Summary
This position provides technical support in offers review for products to ensure that they will be built according to Customer and ECPS Product Scope. Identifies, analyzes, defines and manages data according to Quoting systems and requirements. Serves as an interface between BU & Customer Service, responding to customer technical requirements for variations, revisions and engineering changes. Supports on standardizing Eaton's business through the customer requirements. Maximizes customer satisfaction through specialized technical support. Owns the quotation process, providing technical support by analyzing and recommending solutions to meet customer needs, ensuring timeliness and accuracy of customer requirement to ensure an exceptional service. The continuous improvement is essential for this role.

Proactively interface and communicate directly with customers, sales engineers, agents, distributors, employees, authorized repair centers and other entities as necessary on warranty and equipment service issues and activities (written and verbal) in order to achieve satisfactory resolution of customer field product issues. Retain customers with polite, timely, and professional responses.
Job Responsibilities
A. Review and interpret customer needs on RFQ's plans and/or specifications (Spec Reviews) to identify customer's technicals and commercial requirements.
B. Accountable for completing cost analysis or quotations in a timely and accurate manner to help secure business and maintain profitability.
C. Approve, or negotiate pricing with appropriate partners per established BU's guidelines, competitive feedback, and customer/market knowledge [This position has pricing authority according to BU's guidelines]
D. Manage large Strategic Account pricing projects/negotiations.
E. Proactively facilitate timely solutions to customer issues by utilizing available resources or creating procedures for resolution
F. Provide product and application technical support, pricing strategy & competitive review for customers, agents, and internal departments
G. Project manage small to medium projects on as needed basis
H. Establish and maintain the highest possible commercial relations with present and potential customers (internal and external) by effectively employing the highest level of skills with regard to the art of salesmanship, application engineering, product knowledge, knowledge of customers business and organization and knowledge of Eaton product lines strategic plans for sales growth
I. Acts as a liaison between engineering, marketing, scheduling, and customers [Coordinates several internal functional areas in order to secure customer requirements]
J. Provides direction and solutions on process improvements, lead project teams and serve as team member for special projects to drive continuous improvement and the team's performance.
K. Support Warranty requests (claims, follow ups and activities related).

Qualifications:
Education level required
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) from an accredited institution.
Years and area of experience required
- 3 years' Experience or exposure to a manufacturing organization [role as Production, Quality, Field Service or Engineering experience in an electrical equipment].
Technical knowledge
- Electrical product knowledge (low to medium voltage Systems)
- Knowledge of technical and commercial aspects of product design, manufacture, and application.
- Knowledge in Programming languages will be a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 - 3 years in the role as a Service Technician experience in customer service-related position.
