For our Power Management & Control Components (PMCC) division, we are seeking a Senior Program Manager (m/f/d) to join our team in Vienna or Bonn with the following responsibilities:
What you will do:
- The Senior Program Manager is part of a team, leading and steering all Power Management & Control Components PMCC projects/programs through ProLaunch stage gates
- He/she is accountable to drive 'complex' projects/programs, actively challenging content, intervening and redirecting activities
- The Senior Program Manager is responsible for planning programs together with (Global) Product Line & Eng., incl. resources
- He/she also monitors project execution and reports status/outcomes, incl. associated risks and mitigations to the project
- Part of the role is to facilitate stakeholder alignment while balancing priorities and conflicting objectives
- The Senior Program Manager will work closely w/- matrixed leadership teams to ensure financial and operational objectives are met
- Leads 'complex' projects/programs for PMCC division across multiple sites within EMEA and globally
- Takes full ownership for satisfactory achievement of the project/program objective
- Facilitates stakeholders, balancing priorities and conflicting objectives
- Actively challenges content/outcomes, redirecting activities if required
- Ensures project deliverables are completed within cost, time and budget
- Creates transparent and commonly accepted project performance view
- Monitors the project budget, staffing requirements and reporting
- Reports project progress and information, performs project reviews, identifies risks and deviations, and obtains solutions
- Looks forward, anticipating and addressing potential problems in advance
- Plans projects/programs including scoping and prioritization of activities and owns the project risk/opportunity management process
- Support the portfolio planning process
- Owns the adherence to the ProLaunch approach, ensuring conformance
- PROLaunch Champion - facilitates the implementation and coaching of program management
Qualifications:
- University degree
- 6-10 years' experience in Program Management; or a combination of Program Management with some Engineering, Operational and/or Product Management.
- Experienced in products / components of the electrical sector or consulting experience preferred
Skills:
- Strongest experience in project management methodologies
- Fluent in German and English
- Experience in risk management
- Knowledge of the power management industry
- Project Management Institute accreditation (PMP) is a plus
- Strong, yet empathetic presence with ability to actively listen
- Proven leadership skills to lead without direct authority
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen
- Excellent skills in verbal & written communication/presentation
- Challenging mind, distinct analytical skills, pushing for insights
- Motivating, optimistic mind-set also when facing head-wind
