We currently have an exciting new opportunity for a Hardware Design Engineer to join our growing team.

Designing and developing new products
Continuous improvement- refining and defining procedures and processes
Capturing, specifying and managing design requirements. Undertake and/or supervise verification and validation of new product designs
Apply expertise to the design of electronics products, advancing the capabilities of the department.
Ensuring that Design to Cost, Design for Manufacture and Design for Test best practices are followed.
Participation in the definition of product roadmaps
Maintaining an awareness of current industry trends and maintaining relationships with suppliers to make best use of emerging technologies
Support concept/bids phase evaluation of projects with respect to task identification/estimation
Provide technical support to Sales, Marketing, Operations and external customers when more in depth product knowledge is required
Qualifications:
Relevant Engineering Degree such as Electronics
Skills:
High and low volume product development
A mix of experience of both analog and digital electronic development for regulated markets requiring standards adherence and certification would be beneficial
Capable of independent working
Six-Sigma background would be a plus
Ability to write clear and unambiguous process and product documentation
