The expected annual salary range for this role is $107812.53 - $158125.04 a year.

What you'll do:

We are seeking an energized, detail-oriented candidate to join our team. The Sr. FP&A analyst will be responsible for managing and overseeing the budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes for the Aerospace Group, with a key focus on functional cost review. This position plays a critical role in providing detailed financial insights and strategic guidance to business units, ensuring functional costs are well-managed and aligned with corporate goals. This individual will be a key interface with the Aerospace senior leadership team, supporting executive budget owners with reporting and analysis. Sr. FP&A Analyst will also be responsible for Aerospace HQ consolidated financial statement forecasting, reporting & analysis and will support Controllership requirements for HQ ledgers, enabling strategic decision-making for the organization. This analyst will join a dynamic and engaged team of Finance professionals at the Eaton Aerospace Headquarters in Irvine, CA.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation, analysis and presentation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts for Aerospace Group budgets
  • Manage monthly budget vs actuals reporting and variance analytics for senior leadership team, working with Controllership team to ensure accuracy, timely reporting of variances and projection;
  • Support the monthly financial reporting process for Aerospace consolidated financial statements, with emphasis in functional costs reviews and SG&A expenses, providing analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for cost optimization
  • Prepare and deliver executive presentations to stakeholders as needed
  • Support Profit Plan and Operating Reviews
  • Drive standardization and process improvements to streamline efforts and improve accuracy of financial reporting
  • Develop financial models and ad-hoc reports
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Basic (Required) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience working in the finance function
  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee
  • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
  • No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation
