We are looking for an experienced Service Engineer for medium voltage (MV) portfolio in power distribution. You will provide a service to Eaton customers, to carry out the installation & maintenance of MV equipment manufactured within the Eaton Electrical business and to maintain other existing MV electrical equipment to fulfill customer requirements in line with Eaton Safety requirements. Can take the lead to support other service engineers as well as being the primary point of contact for our customers during the execution of installation projects

What you'll do:

  • Perform commissioning, service, repair, preventive maintenance and retrofits on Eaton's Installed Base/products.
  • Actively be involved in scheduling/planning of works
  • Actively support and work to be in line with goals and performance KPI's
  • Secure time reporting and technical reports are done in connection to each individual work
  • Attending all mandatory trainings provided in accordance with Eaton policy.
  • Working and acting in line with Eaton guidelines, processes and code of ethics.
  • Cooperate with Project Managers in projects supporting in planning and commissioning scheduling.
  • Offer support for high profile clients, providing technical advice and attending site visits as required.
  • Maintain direct links with business units in technical issues.
  • Support Eaton's Environment, Health & Safety culture.

Qualifications:

  • Installer electrical background or suitable education/qualifications
  • Proven years of experience in the Field Service Engineering with relevant experience in Power Distribution

Skills:

  • Three phase electrical installation and commissioning experience
  • Programming of PLC control systems (Power Control, Generator Control, SCADA, or process control) an advantage
  • Good understanding of switch panels and power distribution.
  • Communication skills, customer Focus and flexibility
  • Fluency in English
