Eaton Corporation is currently seeking a Senior Executive Assistant of the SVP & COO, Industrial Sector. This position is based at Eaton's corporate office in Beachwood, OH.
Position Overview:
The Executive Assistant will provide exceptional administrative support to Eaton's President & COO of the Industrial Sector. The role involves enhancing the efficiency and readiness of the COO by effectively managing various administrative tasks and projects. Acting as the primary liaison among executives, employees, and external partners, the assistant must demonstrate excellent problem-solving, communication, and prioritization skills. Success in this role requires a self-motivated, confident, enthusiastic, and highly adaptable individual with outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.

Essential Functions:
• Organize and maintain the COO's schedule, coordinate meetings and events, and inform the COO of changes.
• Monitor communications, highlight urgent emails, and manage email traffic.
• Arrange travel logistics, adhering to company policies.
• Administer meetings, prepare agendas, record minutes, and set up video conferencing.
• Reconcile credit card statements, analyze expenses, and flag questionable charges.
• Assist in performance reviews by providing necessary tools and documenting plans.
• Manage small projects and support larger ones affecting multiple areas.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
• Provide high-quality executive support and manage ad-hoc requests.
• Handle administrative tasks like expense reports, filing, and document preparation.
• Prioritize and organize calls, messages, and emails.
• Project manage events, coordinate with teams and vendors, and meet deadlines.
• Anticipate needs, improve processes, and operate effectively in a high-change environment.
• Compile data for reports and maintain confidentiality.
• Manage complex international and domestic travel for the COO.
• Leverage technology for efficiency and stay forward-thinking.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
• At least 10 years of professional experience
• A minimum of four years of experience providing high-level administrative support to a Senior or C-Suite executive within a value-driven, large multinational corporation managing schedules, meetings, and confidential information to outcomes
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams)
• Exceptional organizational skills for handling complex schedules and event coordination
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills for managing communications, agendas, and stakeholder liaising
• Experience with domestic and international travel logistics
• Experience leading all aspects of meeting administration to include scheduling, agenda prep, minute taking, video conferencing setup
• Proficiency in reconciling credit card statements and expense analysis
• Project coordination experience with multiple teams and vendors
• Adaptability in a dynamic environment, improving processes
• Proficiency with office technology to enhance productivity
• HS Diploma
Preferred Qualifications:
• Associate or bachelor's Degree
