What you'll do:

Position's main focus will be to Support Digital Engineering for ES-EMEA by implementing systems for 'Digital Design Transformation' to enhance decision-making and engineering efficiency.
Modernize design processes using digital engineering tools, collaborate for secure networks, lead digitalization projects, and support reporting and strategy deployment.
• Responsible to modernize how we design, develop, deliver, operate and sustain our systems and products at EATON.
• Build and establish an integrated digital approach that uses ENOVIA as single source of system data and models across disciplines to support lifecycle activities from concept through retiring of product.
• Work closely with IT/ SCM and other functions to ensure availability of secure connected information networks to perform digital engineering activities.

• Helping establish systems that enables use of models across the lifecycle, making life of engineers easy. Supporting Leader - Digital Engineering ES EMEA in driving and leading project activities for digitalization of engineering processes.
• Identify digital design/tools needed across ES-EMEA for reducing design cycle time, eliminating testing & in collaboration with Digital Engineering team develop the analysis capabilities for the region."" Rationalize engineering tools used in the region to reduce cost, improve speed of execution.
.• Identify applicable opportunities for automation & digitization of Engineering processes/ templates using appropriate tools such as Excel Macros, VBA, Python, PowerApps & other O365 tools. Continuously builds digital skills to simplify tools and tools using processes. Develops impactful dashboards and reports using Power BI and sharing those reports effectively using Microsoft Power Platform.
• Build and establish system that securely and safely connect people, processes, data, and capabilities across an end-to-end digital engineering organization.
• Lead projects to establish standard practices to develop accurate, complete, trusted, and reusable models across the lifecycle of products.
• Work with businesses and various functions to develop, mature, and implement methods and processes to support digital engineering activities across the enterprise and lifecycle.
• Support in creating a reporting structure and method for the region to reflect Digital Engineering progress and KPI's. Set up lean way to communicate with business Stakeholders.
• Support evolving the enterprise strategy deployment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's / Masters Degree in Engineering. Preferred: with strong engineering tools and process understanding.
  • 3-5 Years of experience in process and tool development, 5-8 years of total experience.
