What you'll do:
1. Work as a key member of the GSC COE Materials responsible for running Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) evaluations for several supply chain projects - resourcing, make vs. buy, localization, multi-sourcing, etc.
2. Carry out rigorous analysis taking into consideration all cost factors, qualitative factors, and determining the best option in terms of lowest total cost, working capital while also keeping in view lead times.
3. Analyze data to identify areas of supply chain design to improve efficiency.
4. Liaison/Coordinate/Lead (as required) to develop projects to enhance supply chain design.
5. Establish strong cross-functional relationships with SCM & Engineering teams
6. Implement & support initiatives to increase adoption of TCO in the organization

Essential Functions:
• Conduct supply chain analysis to evaluate several decisions such as resourcing, NPI, make vs. buy, VAVE, and network decisions through a series of "modelling and scenario building" exercises and simulations
• Articulate cost & service impacts that strategic initiatives will have on the supply chain design
• Collaborate with global site members for delivering up to expectation, scope expansions and resolving the site level queries as needed for supply chain design.
• Analyze, identify, and implement opportunities and corporate initiatives for improvement that have measurable dollar impact each year.
• Participate and drive cross-functional review meetings
• Drive initiatives to increase TCO adoption across the organization
Qualifications:
• Bachelors with about 8-10 years of experience in Supply Chain

Basic Knowledge (Foundation):
• Strong analytical skills, end to end supply chain knowledge, fair understanding of top line & bottom-line cost factors, and product & manufacturing process.
• Experience analyzing and improving supply chain data, information, and processes
• Exceptional ability to conceptualize large-picture projects and foresee challenge and needs to be addressed
• Ability to manage multiple projects/activities, project management skills
• Superior interpersonal skills and ability to work with teams across the globe
• Excellent communication skills at all levels of the organization (customers, marketing, engineering, quality, and manufacturing)

• Proven experience as a Supply Chain Analyst, or similar role working to improve all aspects of the supply chain
