What you'll do:

Reconciliation COE - Senior Analyst will report into the Deputy Manager RTR. This role supports the Reconciliation COE Deputy Manager with the monthly transactional and month-end activities in close coordination with the other cross functional teams. Responsible for supporting continuous improvement projects to drive journal posting, reconciliations & month-end initiatives and efficiencies for the Operational teams and site finance teams. Other responsibilities include generating monthly reporting for various Operational & Partnership metrics. Another key aspect of this role will be supporting complete RTR function and finance transformation initiatives through various new technology opportunities such as SQL, Power BI, Power Automate and Microsoft 365 tools. Through these initiatives and projects the prospect will be working cross functionally with multiple teams across Eaton.

"- Thorough understanding of the financial processes (RTR, OTC & PTP) with due focus on RTR in managing end to end accounting. Responsibilities include ensuring an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close. Demonstrate efficiency, agility and ensure a high level of accuracy.
- Ontime preparation & review of reconciliations with critical identification of improvement opportunities thereby increasing overall operational efficiency. Working effectively on the quality of reconciliations - be a role model for the team in terms of process quality and deliverables. Driving standard practices within the team. Maintaining 0 reconciliation rejections and facilitating training to teams on time to time basis to ensure quality of reconciliations. Maintaining open items on each category of account reconciliation below 60 days - and driving the same within the team.
- Analyzing data and proactively identify root cause to improve operational efficiency.
- Participate in various projects to identify areas of improvement and to pursue solutions for those opportunities.
- Partners cross functionally with other teams (i.e. PTP, OTC, GFA, Treasury, Plant, Functional Support) to identify problems and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist with acquisition and integration efforts for new businesses/ processes and ensure smooth transitioning of the activities.
- Support in the Oracle to SAP migrations of sites.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions with the team with respect to policies governing the activities, any change or amendment to the policies. Identify inefficiencies in the existing processes and suggest process improvement ideas.
- Assist in creating SOPs and back-ups for all critical activities. Handholding new-joiners and ensuring their smooth onboarding by coordinating their training and knowledge transfer.
- Be prompt with audit and other queries - providing effective resolutions within 24 hours thereby ensuring no audit gaps.
- Become a Tech champion:
- Building a knowledge base using new technologies and software to support the Finance Transformation initiatives.
- Creating Power BI and other relevant reporting to support business needs.
- Continuously upscaling & upskilling self to be adaptive to all new opportunities."

Qualifications:

Accounting Degree (CA), MBA-Finance or B.com. (Accounting) with required experience
6-8 years of experience in accounting, finance policy and internal control standards.

Skills:

"Must have an end-to-end process knowledge for GL and FA and good understanding of OTC and PTP encompassing overall accounting as the area. Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SOX.
Excellent knowledge & experience of Oracle & SAP ERP - openness to learn and adapt other ERP's. Excellent MS Office knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.), Excel Macro. Working knowledge of Power BI & Power App and other reporting tool."
Strong, proven problem solving and written and oral communication skills required, professional presence.
