We are seeking an experienced Segment Business Development Engineer-LV Switchgear to join our team in Dubai.

What you'll do:
- Support, develop and implement an engineering strategy for low voltage assemblies within designated high growth segments of data centers', Heavy industrial, Utilities and commercial/ infrastructure. Focusing on supporting commercial organisations on engineering tasks
- Carry put out Low voltage engineering support through Single line diagram interpretation, preperation of solutions focusing on de-risking via engineered systems
- Provide commercial engineering expertise in customer projects pursuit teams
- Demonstrate segment-based thought leadership for LV solutions knowledge to drive credibility with both internal and external stakeholder focusing on key areas on engineering within the segments
- Support, develop and implement an operational plan for low voltage assemblies within designated high growth segments of data centers', Heavy industrial, Utilities and commercial/ infrastructure.
- Through engineering expertise drive technical and commercial demand generation and influence on live and future projects, for Eaton's low voltage assemblies with key stakeholders of end users, consultants and contractors for projects and frameworks alike, with the goal to create, support and monitor a pipeline across the region/segment and support "closing the deal" with the sales teams.
- Identification and providing the business lines of market pricing for segment and zones regions for low voltage switchgear assemblies.
- Be the LV engineering representative in the project triage "G0/No-Go" process to support strategic decisions- with the goal of selecting the right projects to pursue.
- Be the conduit of communication and support between designated CSO's and PMCC business unit, providing support on pricing points and lead times, but not an escalation points on quality and delivery issues.
- Provide support and attendance at industry/segment specific trade shows/conferences to provide representation and expertise for LV systems.
- Provide thought leadership topics and expertise for subject matters relative to industry/regions and segment, raising personal and companywide profile, via social media, white papers, media interviews, panel discussions.
- Be the voice of change and conduit between CSO and segment sales teams for product refinement, development for NPI's and NPD's that elevates and advances Eaton's system solution offering to meet segment and market needs and liaise with product line managers and product application experts and eventually R&D.
- Provide support and intelligence between supply chain and commercial organisations to remove any roadblock on delivery of project expectations.
- Support the customer solutions architect engineering team members to provide documented answers to commercial organizations
- Identify and support AVL process within defined key accounts within defined segments for Eaton's LV assemblies, feeding this information to a designated AVL specialist within the EMEA organization and support the segment sales and AVL teams through the process.
- Identify any new segment specific (DC and heavy industry) low voltage panel builders across the designated regions to feed into the panel builder operations team for evaluation, to support Eaton's EMEA segment specific plans for growth within low voltage assemblies.
Qualifications:
- University degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 3-5 Years working in Low voltage systems
Skills:
- Strong electrical engineering background
- Segment systems based application knowledge with a bias to Data Centre's industrial and commercial building applications
- Electrical automation and advantage
- IT literate
- Familiar with electrical design tools and software
- Fluent speaking and writing in English
- Good communicator and presentation skills
- Self-motivated and takes ownership on results
