Eaton's IS VEH Functions division is currently seeking a SCM Transformation Program Manager. This is a hybrid work opportunity based at our Southfield, MI facility.

Mobility Group's Supply Chain is transforming. This transformation journey will establish a new, scalable operating model that optimizes our ability to focus on growth and respond with speed and agility to customer and market demand. An initiative of this magnitude and importance will require a focused and coordinated effort. The ideal Program Manager will focus on a comprehensive coordination and management of all activities related to the correct implementation of foresight including structure, processes, and technology.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $120075.03 - $176110.04 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you'll do:

  • Drive program execution through planning, resource management, scope management, performance tracking, and identifying risks, issues & opportunities using Eaton Standard Process stage gate methodology and other project management methodologies.
  • Manages timelines, supports the coordination of all activities, consolidate action items and status and provide overall project update
  • Provide regular project updates (i.e. Project Status Report - Green/Yellow/Red) to Supply Chain and business unit leaders of the current status relating to milestones and problem/high risk areas (e.g., technical, cost, and schedule).
  • Works with multifunctional project team members, and stakeholders to define, prioritize, and execute projects and programs as per defined expectations.
  • Synchronizing with the enterprise transformation projects already underway
  • Coordinate the deployment of the new technologies that will enable us to become more intelligent and efficient in how we run the business
  • Safeguarding the things that work well today
  • Maintaining a strong commitment and focus on our people and our Play to Win culture
  • Execute global supply chain transformation projects with varying levels of complexity by defining project scope, resources, timelines and goals and obtaining appropriate level of sponsorship.
  • Cultivate customer focused mindset and stakeholder partnership through team empowerment, collaboration, effective communication, and mentoring and coaching project team members.
  • Create and share program management best practices working in a cross-disciplinary manner with other departments (e.g., Product Line Managers, Operations, Business Mgt., etc.) at the enterprise global level.

Qualifications:

Required Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum seven (7) years experience in Supply Chain, Operations and/or Program Management
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future
  • No relocation is available for this position. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Southfield, MI to be considered. Active Duty Military are exempt from this geographical limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree
  • 5-7 years experience in program management and product development

Skills

  • Fully demonstrating in Portfolio, Program and Project Management methodologies, processes, and tools
  • Recognized formal project management qualification (e.g. PMP/APMP/Prince2/P30) preferred.
  • Good level of understanding on the material management environment and how ERPs work
  • Ability to provide strong leadership in a matrix environment.
  • Strong project management and excellent organizational skills
  • Managerial courage in driving actions and timelines
  • Comfortable and professional approaching higher levels of management at the enterprise level.
  • Detail orientated with strong analytical & process skills. Business acumen, political savvy, networking skills, learning agility including the ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders
