Eaton is currently seeking for a SCM Product Line Leader to join the team in Tczew or Bielsko-Biała.

What you'll do:

The SCM Product Line Leader acts as the primary conduit between the Product Lines and the SCM organization to ensure the best alignment between these areas.

This position is primarily responsible to manage programs from the design phase to production to meet all timing, cost, and quality requirements for the assigned Product Lines in alignment with the SCM functional processes and strategies through a matrix organization. This position is also responsible to ensure consistent deployment of the regional and global procurement strategies within the Product Lines assigned and to ensure best alignment in the region between the SCM organization and the product lines management. This position reports solid line to the SCM Program Management & Total Cost-Out Manager.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Manage the project portfolio of new product introduction (NPI), VAVE and resourcing
- Support Procurement team with the negotiation initiatives driving cost reduction
- Manage risk and opportunities, supervise, execute and report appropriate mitigation actions, including escalation of issues on SCM topics across matrix organization
- Achieve timely delivery of BOM quotes / estimates, tracks the BOM actual current costs during the project design and development to SOP, achieves BOM cost targets at SOP
- Coordinate a consistent early supplier engagement during Pro Launch phase 0 to 3
- Review component design industrialization with Product Engineering, Procurement and Supplier Development Engineering (SDE)
- Direct strategic sourcing decisions, including make or buy analysis, through consensus building in operations, quality and engineering
- Develop and implements key supplier quality strategies and approaches for raw material quality improvement in conjunction with the SDE as well as APQP execution to enable flawless and safe launches.
- Manage the change management process for SCM initiated changes, coordinates the SCM inputs to the CM process for non SCM initiated changes
- Establish key operating metrics developing appropriate objectives and performance expectations to ensure product lines goal achievement
- Manage and report SCM critical metrics through GPS/Costverse and consolidate SCM reporting per Product Line
- Assess the Product Lines innovation needs with the SCM CMs, SDE and suppliers

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in business or specialized degree in program management or engineering degree.
Minimum 5 years experience in supply chain management OR Engineering, OR Program Management, OR similar strategic role within a large manufacturing organization

Skills:

Fluency English. Any other European languages would be a plus
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to lead and work cross functionally
Strong analytical/problem solving skills
Effective people/interpersonal, negotiation, communication, and customer-care skills, including the ability to navigate in a matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity
Proficient computer-systems knowledge and application skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Power BI).
Ability to think and act strategically.

In addition (nice to have skills):
Working knowledge of various commodities, cost drivers, and manufacturing techniques
Project / Program Management Certification (e.g. PMP)
Previous supervisory responsibility
