Job summary

SAP Quote to Cash Senior Specialist, works closely with the Product Owner and is responsible for design, model, configure, and implement SAP ERP (ECC & S4) functional software and process solutions to meet desired business requirements. Analyze business processes and systems processes & recommend improvements that use standard Eaton software and processes. Participate in implementations at expert level support often directing more junior level team members. Develops, demonstrates, trains, and drives regional or global solutions. Implements controls that are fully auditable and compliant with business and regulatory standards

This position requires the ability to understand and drive regional solutions and implement controls that are fully auditable and compliant with business and control standards, working closely within the SAP Governance framework. The Lead System Analyst will all be required to drive process standardization, solution reusability, automation and highlight opportunities through the deployment innovative AI technologies.

The Lead System Analyst will be required to be a expert in SAP solution in the Sales & Distribution (SD) module, have a good level understanding of touch points with other modules (especially CS, MM, FI) within a highly integrated and diverse IT landscape of manufacturing and distribution centers. Expertise within pricing, availability checks, shipping, billing, foreign trade, edocuments is fundamental.

Job responsibilities

• Responsible for in-depth functional & business process knowledge of target application - showing global leadership
• Work in partnership with global decision makers and business process owners on system requirements, processes, and systems.
• Manage requirements in line with global templates and guidelines. Ensure that solutions are for the benefit of all users, sites, divisions and regions.
• Own the set-up and governance of consolidated, worldwide target processes.
• Demonstrate very strong analytical skills, to critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources and regions, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a more general understanding, distinguish presented user requests from the underlying true needs, and distinguish solution ideas from requirements.
• Applies governance processes to the change control, system development life cycle and ensure that necessary regression testing is delivered to ensure system integrity.
• Support end to end processes and has a strong level understanding of system touch points.
• Applies the global governance to ensure proposed solutions are in-line global solutions.
• Participate in global business process improvement committees as needed.
• Strong communication skills - able to interact with senior level leaders at a global level. Able to explain complex system issues and decision points using common business language (without using IT terms and language).

Qualifications:

Basic (required) Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum seven (7) years ERP QTC functions across ECC and S4
  • No relocation is offered for this position. All candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of Moon Township, PA: Beachwood, OH: Raleigh, NC: Menomonee Falls, WI: Galesburg MI: or Houston, TX to be considered.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in ECC and S4
  • Experience in all cross functional modules and integrations
  • Understanding of and experience working with Agile, Scrum, and/or Kanban software delivery teams
  • Understanding of DevSecOps principles
  • Technical capability including understanding of the core programming and database

Soft skills

  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
