What you'll do:

As a Sales Engineer you will be responsible for executing strategies, expanding market reach, and fostering customer relationship. You will mainly work with Eaton's existing panel builders, also establish new potential partners. This role requires a professional with a background in the low voltage assembly industry with a understanding of local regulations, products & systems and to have the ability to achieve committed revenue targets, furthermore deliver technical trainings to customers and handle contract management. You will be part of the C&I (Commercial and Industrial) team in Norway and is primary based at our office in Oslo.

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate new customer relationships and nurture existing relationship with panel builders, consultants, industry professionals and end users to drive business growth.
  • Be able to provide in technical training, presentation and transfer of knowledge to selected customers.
  • Develop short term and long-term plans, designed to ensure that Eaton's and customers targets for growth in key segments like datacenters and C&I buildings are met or exceeded.
  • Work collaboratively with in a strong network of colleagues in Eaton, both in Norway and in the rest of Europe.
  • Provide advice and guidance to management regarding product requirements for the target market with the objective of securing maximum market share and sustainable growth
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and challenges in the market, adjusting sales strategies accordingly

Qualifications:

  • Relevant electrical education in panel building or bachelor degree in electrical engineering
  • Knowledge of low voltage switchboards, panels and other low voltage systems with understanding the Norwegian NEK regulations.
  • Fluency in both Norwegian & English languages
  • Driving license and flexibility in traveling for client visits.
  • Good interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Experience in business to business sales: of sales techniques, products and building customer relations is an advantage.
  • Proficient in CRM software and sales management tools like Salesforce is an advantage.
  • Strong communication abilities to define target projects, capital expenditures and identify prime opportunities is an advantage.
