Please note the Eaton ReSurge cohort will begin their 12-month assignment in March of 2025. Eaton's ReSurge Returnship Program is hiring a SAP Data Analyst in Moon Township, PA, Richmond, VA or Raleigh, NC

Eaton's Critical Power Solutions (CPS) Division is currently seeking a SAP Data Analyst to join our team. The position will be hybrid with an expected 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

The SAP Data Analyst be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data sets within the SAP environment and managing SAP material master data across the CPS division, including the creation, maintenance, and governance of material master data (MDM) within SAP, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational standards and policies. This role works cross functionally across CPS product lines, impacting various business processes including sales order processing, financial reporting, supply chain operations, and engineering. In addition, this individual will help co-lead the organizational change management process for the DCPD SAP Transition.

In this role you will:
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various SAP modules to create comprehensive data sets for analysis.
• Analyze large data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive business decisions.
• Develop and maintain data models, reports, and dashboards using SAP tools and other data visualization software.
• Establish, maintain and communicate data governance standards and expectations. This includes managing processes to create, maintain, and deactivate material master data to ensure accuracy and compliance with organizational standards and policies.
• Manage data quality by developing and implementing data quality procedures, including data cleansing, validation, and standardization to maintain high data integrity.
• Generate and analyze reports related to material master data to support strategic decision-making, operational efficiency, and to measure volumes and growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data analysis solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all SAP systems.
• Provide support and training to end-users on data extraction and analysis techniques.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP developments and best practices in data analysis.
• Support DCPD SAP Transition as business process owner for Master Data Management and co-lead for organization change management

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum three (3) years work experience
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience working with SAP or other ERP systems
  • No relocation is offered for this position. All candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of Moon Township PA Richmond, VA, or Raleigh, NC to be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of a voluntary career break from your profession
  • Up to 10% travel may be required
  • Strong knowledge of SAP modules (e.g., SAP HANA, SAP BW, SAP ECC)
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as SAP Lumira, Tableau, or Power BI.

Eaton provides a competitive total rewards package commensurate with applicable skills, knowledge, and experience and consistent with internal and external market practices. The salary for this role is $90,000 a year.
