Eaton's ES AMER NAS division is currently seeking a Regional Sales Manager, CDW. This hybrid role is located in Woodridge, IL.

What you'll do:

Eaton is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead our IT Distributed Infrastructure business, with a focus on growing sales through CDW. This role involves full leadership of Eaton's Datacenter and IT go-to-market strategy for CDW Chicagoland offices. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive go-to-market strategies and programs for Eaton's CPDI products, services, and adjacent Datacenter product lines, ensuring they are effectively positioned and sold through CDW's reseller channel.

You will oversee a team of 4 CDW Channel Account Managers (CAM's), guiding them to achieve sales targets, optimize product mix, and maximize margins. Additionally, you will serve as the primary point of contact for CDW Chicagoland offices, fostering key relationships and providing both sales and technical support to ensure Eaton's solutions are top of mind within CDW's extensive sales organization.

As the Regional Sales Manager, you will work closely with channel, distribution, sales leadership, product marketing/management, and marketing communications to refine Eaton's value propositions and tools. Your leadership will be pivotal in positioning Eaton as a market leader in distributed infrastructure within CDW and driving growth across all relevant verticals.

In this function you will:

  • Drive CDW channel sales of D-IT and CPS products and services to meet revenue and margin objectives within CDW Chicagoland
  • Manage a team of 4 Channel Account Managers (CAM's), guiding them to achieve sales targets, and developing their professional skills and competencies
  • Manage and optimize the relationship with CDW Chicagoland, ensuring alignment with their business goals and objectives.
  • Lead thought leadership into the market by developing partner value propositions, recruitment and enablement content, programs, and offers.
  • Direct the proper integration, execution, deployment, implementation, and sustainability of front-end initiative tools such as SalesForce.com
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to ensure competitive positioning.
  • Transform voice of customer into value propositions and leading sales / marketing tools, working closely with Product Marketing / Management and marketing communication teams.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and areas for improvement.
  • Measure against Eaton sales and make recommendations on market coverage models and metrics to drive market development and hiring plans across open partner and channel segments.
  • Support the development of business analytics tools to analyze sales by channel and products to identify growth opportunities.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitive analysis to senior management.
  • Manage the sales budget, including forecasting and tracking sales performance.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution is required.
  • Minimum of (6) Six years experience in sales, or marketing.
  • Relocation is not available. Candidates must reside within a 50 mile radius of Woodridge, IL.
  • Sponsorship is not provided. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US on an ongoing basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Marketing from an accredited institution.
  • 8+ years of experience in sales, technical support, or marketing.
  • 1+ year of experience in people management

The compensation range for this full-time position includes base pay and target sales performance incentive. This position has a target total compensation range of $142,500- $209,000

Base salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
