Eaton's Assemblies and Residential Solutions division is seeking a Regional Marketing Manager for the South East region. This remote role involves 50% travel and requires candidates to reside within the state of Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, or Tennessee. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to make an immediate impact by driving the residential product line and building contractor and distributor relationships to grow Eaton's market share.
What you'll do:
The Regional Marketing Manager will lead and manage the commercial marketing strategies focused on demand creation and customer affinity within targeted application segments and an assigned sales region. Communication with various stakeholders (i.e. Sales, Distributors, Contractors, OEMs, and Electrical Sector Channel Management) will be accomplished via face to face / virtual meetings, training, new product introduction, and issue resolution that support the goal of exceeding annual Profit Plan Sales and Market Share growth objectives. Partnership with various Product Line Marketing, Regional WD Sales Managers, Retail and Builder Sales Managers, and Field Sales Managers will be required to develop and implement segment focused sales and distribution strategies. The RMM will be responsible for gathering and consolidating customer and market input as well as actively participating in the annual Strategic Planning process.

In this function you will:
• Implement marketing and sales strategies to drive revenue growth for RWD products. Primary responsibilities are Residential Products Division products (load-centers, breakers, group metering, etc.) and Wiring Devices (Residential, Commercial and Industrial)
• Negotiate and execute strategic conversions and new partnerships with key customers
• Develop, implement, and refine go-to-market strategies for assigned RWD product lines, including marketing campaigns, channel expansion, and sales force and channel training programs.
• Collaborate with the Strategic Pricing Team/Manager and Product Lines to develop and implement strategic pricing processes and pricing strategies to maximize sales volume, share, and margin.
• Develop and provide subject matter expertise for base commercial and residential product lines - serve as primary point of contact with sales, channel, and customers to evaluate, prioritize, develop, manage and implement RWD's overall growth strategies
• Create and lead execution of product launches including messaging, launch programs and deliverables, coordination with sales for target customers, pipeline loading, and revenue generation
• Provide support for profit plan processes regarding commercial programs and activities
• Coordinate the division VOC generation for RWD products and services providing input for NPD roadmaps within the assigned geography.
• Partner with engineering, NPD and commercial teams to prepare and present business reviews to senior management regarding progress, opportunities, and roadblocks.
• Actively consolidate and communicate aggregated market and competitive intelligence
• Act as division liaison with sales and other divisions; Sales pipeline management support for Product Lines and NAS. Coordinate and manage sales pipeline and report activity to the division.
• Lead and manage training and field support for RWD assigned products and services
• Provide input regarding improvements to front end systems and services supporting the RWD business. Be aware of competitive capabilities and provide input to the RWD Front End Systems manager and individual Product Lines.
• Provide input regarding customer facing documentation of RWD products and services in the defined geography including but not limited to technical documents and online information
• Direct account responsibility for ECCN accounts, Multi-Family, Agents and Single family developers both specification and channel within the region
• Support of local code adoptions, electrical associations, and utility relationships in the region.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in sales or marketing
• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in sales or marketing in electrical industry
• Advanced degree in Engineering, business, sales, marketing, or technical degree from an accredited institution
• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Technical understanding of electrical equipment and application
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
• Aptitude for supporting multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent presentation skills and public speaking experience.
• Ability to work effectively in team environment and independently without direct supervision.
The compensation range for this full-time position includes base pay and target sales performance incentive. This position has a target total compensation range of $138,750.00 - 203,500.00.
Base salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
