Regional Manager - Project Management

Eaton's North American Sales team is looking for a Regional Manager - Project Management to oversee the project team and channels, manage products and applications, and boost sales in the Gulf region (Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana). The role can be based in Grapevine or Houston, Texas, with relocation assistance available for Houston. Travel requirements range from 25-50%.

Reporting directly to the VP of Sales, your primary responsibility will be to lead the project team and channels to drive sales growth in the assigned commercial construction/industrial markets. You will lead the Project Management process to ensure accurate, complete, and timely data for fact-based decision-making. To drive financial improvements and customer satisfaction, you will encourage continuous improvement of the project management processes by field-based Project Managers and Project Engineers. You will build relationships with product line management to assist in developing marketing and product line sales and pricing strategies. As a manager of people, you will supervise and provide vision and training for Project Managers.

In this role you will:
• Ensure integrity and competency of systems to comply with corporate, division, and organization policies, guidelines, and procedures
• Drive productivity growth within the group utilizing leading principles and electronic tools to support efficient and profitable business growth
• Support District Manager in formulating a strategic plan
• Attract, hire, develop, and retain top quality Project Managers and Project Engineers who excel at providing customer value through the execution of processes, technical and commercial savvy, and effective relationship building with customers
• Technical product change and pricing negotiation, configuration changes, and approval and construction drawing preparation and changes
• Critical customer interface and relationship building while managing financials including Z accounts and customer claims

Your Qualifications:
• Proven experience in project management, preferably within the Commercial Construction and/or Industrial market segments, and ability to drive financial performance
• Strong leadership and team management skills, along with excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• Experience in an indirect sales model working with channel distribution
• Minimum 8 years of experience in electrical industry project management, field sales or marketing developing and executing strategies
• Must possess a valid and unrestricted driver's license
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Field Sales or Marketing
• PMP Certification

The expected annual salary range for this role is $144,000 - $211,000 a year. This role is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
