What you'll do:
Responsible for interfacing with sales engineers and partners such as Distributors, Wholesaler, Value added Resellers and System Integrators, designers and/or sales or service representative when necessary to handle a variety of commercial pre-sales support functions. Supporting the local sales organization and customers in areas such as technical and commercial assistance, technical guidance, documentation, compliance with standard, comparison with competitors portfolio, product or assortment specific questions by acting as a point of contact on several channels: sales tools, ERP, web ticket, telephone, chat, e-mail, etc.

- Manage technical inquires such delivery-to-order, configure-to-order and engineer-to-order solutions with products and systems from EATON Electrical portfolio.
- Draft technical quotes with a suggested net selling price based on electrical diagrams, lists of material, tender documents, technical data, product lists from competitor's catalogues.
- Manage cross references and provide pre-sales support in choosing the components among the EATON product portfolio and competitors.
- The primary function is to draft standard quotes and offers to internal and external customers for products and systems of EATON Electrical division.
- The main activities to be covered are related to management of the Requests for Quotations (from Delivery to Order, Configure to Order and Engineer to Order requests) and related process flow in multiple aspects, providing a complete and professional support to the sales organization. This can include quote registration in CRM, creation of BOM, product selection, cross reference, technical specification and updates according to local standards and regulations.
- Support the local Sales Organization in quote registration, opportunity management and updates in CRM.
- Calculation and draft of technical solutions for CtO quotations (BidManager, Configurator and other tools) and EtO, including alignment with product experts for not standard solutions.
- Support in testing and development of engineering software's and tools for design and quotations.
- Acquire technical knowledge and expertise for specific product families and help in knowledge sharing sessions for new joiners and colleagues.
Qualifications:
- BSc in Engineering or equivalent Technical Degree. (Electrical is an advantage)
- Proven experience in sales/technical support or quotations for electrical products.
Skills:
- Good understanding of low voltage electric products and systems, protections devices and related applications.
- Capability to understand and read electrical one-line diagrams and circuits schematics.
- Experience with usage of electrical design software, CRM and CAD. Knowledge of EPLAN, Salesforce, SAP and BidManager is an advantage.
- Analytical mindset, team working, sense of cooperation and ability to manage prioritization.
- Fluent in English and German
