What you'll do:
The primary function is to provide pre-sales support and draft quotations for internal and external customers and/or the sales organization by acting as a primary point of contact on several channels: telephone, e-mail, web ticket, and chat for Austria CSO EATON Electrical division. The main activities to be covered are related to management of the customers in multiple aspects, providing a complete and professional support for technical inquiries, tendering and quotations follow-up for emergency luminaires (EL) EATON Electrical portfolio.

Responsible for interfacing with local sales colleagues, area managers, end customers, partners, wholesalers and distributors, designers and/or sales or service representative when necessary to handle a variety of pre-sales or post-sales technical support functions.
- Manage technical inquires such delivery-to-order and standard configuration-to order solutions including products and systems, CAD projects, lighting simulation and all the technical documentation required from Eaton Electrical portfolio (Emergency Luminaires system).
- Draft technical quotes with a suggested net selling price based on electrical diagrams, lists of material, tender documents, technical data, product lists from competitor's catalogues.
- Manage cross references and provide technical support in choosing the components among the EATON product portfolio and competitors.
- Assist internal and external stakeholders with product selection and application assistance via email and phone.
- Design and calculation and draft of technical solutions and quotations with technical parameterization of products and systems.
- Provide support in testing and development for engineering software's and tools for design and quotations.
- Acquire technical knowledge and expertise for specific product families and help in knowledge sharing sessions for new joiners and colleagues.
Qualifications:
- BSc in Engineering or equivalent Technical Degree. (Electrical is an advantage)
- Proven experience in technical support or technical quotations for electrical products.
Skills:
- Good understanding of low voltage electric circuits and systems, protections devices and related applications.
- Capability to understand and read electrical one-line diagrams and circuits schemes.
- Experience with usage of electrical design software, AutoCAD, Dialux EVO, SAP and BidManager and similar.
- Analytical mindset, team working, sense of cooperation and ability to manage prioritization and customer oriented.
- Fluent in German and English
