The hourly rate for this position is $31.30 per hour.
The core hours are 5 am - 1 pm. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times.

What you'll do:
The Quality Test System Technician will be responsible for leading and reviewing existing test setups/ execution for process, efficiency for quality improvements, and implementing semi-automated testing in designated areas as needed while supporting testing productions at the Lincoln Avenue plant.
In this function, you will:
- Lead the test team in executing new tests and Relay Testing methods
- Implement and debug new test process with support from engineering
- Implement hardware and test program (software) modifications to the systems as appropriate
- Review existing test setups/execution for process, efficiency and quality improvements. Implement semi-automated testing in designated areas as needed.
- Create new test documentation (work instructions, pass / fail test reports). Evaluate existing test documentation for changes and enhancements.
- Monitor test process data and trend.
- Perform routine maintenance and monthly check out on the systems and test equipment.
- Lead Calibration System in the plant.
- Test products in the plant (25 to 50 percent of time) or as needed.
- Assist in EQMS internal audits, lead internal special processes and common processes audit.
- Assist in driving quality improvement in production manufacturing setting.
- Support production personnel on test related issues/ data collection issues, etc.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- A High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree) from an accredited institution is required.
- Associate's Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field OR a minimum of 3 years of experience in electronics or electrical testing
- Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with Transformer assembly experience OR experience in electronics assembly, HVAC, or variable frequency drive assembly.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience as an Inspector/Tester "A" OR a minimum of 3 years of experience in electronics or electrical testing.
- Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in technology, science, or related field from an accredited institution
- Yellow, Green Belt or Six Sigma trained.
Skills:
- Basic knowledge of programming language such as BASIC, C, C++, VB scripts, etc.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing systems and/or Six Sigma methodology
- Functional knowledge of test development-Programming knowledge such as Lab view, Visual studio, SQL, etc.
- Ability to work overtime when required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 LBS; bend, twist, grab, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, use both hands to lift and lower materials, and perform all other essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
