Eaton's AER MSD Mission System Division division is currently seeking a Quality Supervisor. The Quality Supervisor will be located at our Davenport, IA facility.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $83250.0 - $122100.0 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you'll do:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Interfaces with all Davenport Engineering disciplines and with customers and suppliers on quality related issues.
• Provides technical input on quality and contractual issues to internal stakeholders and external customers.

• Leads Quality Engineering Resources for production support, customer concerns and product/process improvements.
• Provides guidance and keeps employees informed of policies and operational changes.
• Lead corrective actions and validate corrective action effectiveness.
• Participate in and lead Advanced Product Quality Process (APQP) improvements and execution.
• Participate in quality, internal, external and regulatory audits.
• Analyzes production and service limitations and standards and recommends revisions of specifications when indicated.
• Reviews technical documentation, provide guidance on updates and compliance/contractual requirements.
• Formulates or helps formulate quality assurance policies and procedures.
• Compiles and performs various reports and audits.
• Develops and modifies procedural documents.
• Performs all operations according to prescribed safety and environmental principles.
• Identifies and effects change to reduce risks of harm and minimize waste and resources used.
• Communicates to employees, visitors and customers that health and safety and a concern for the environment are values for the company.
• Interprets engineering drawings and specifications, customer quality requirements, and company quality requirements to ensure compliance with the customer's expectations.
• All other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree OR
• Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years' experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with AS9100/ISO9001 (aerospace), MIL-STD, ISO13485 (medical), or IATF16949 (automotive)
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Root Cause Analysis Tools, Lean Manufacturing, and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within 70 miles of the Davenport, IA facility will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Field (i.e., Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering) OR
• 5+ years' experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control
• 5+ years' experience in measurement techniques
• 5+ years blueprint reading and interpretation
• 5+ years of experience with AS9100/ISO9001(aerospace), MIL-STD ISO13485(medical), or IATF16949 (automotive)
• 3+ years' experience in leadership
• DOD and MIL-STD experience
• Military aviation or aircraft modification experience
• FAA experience
• Experience in the selection, hiring and training of new employees as well as overseeing day-to-day workflow, scheduling and providing positive feedback and discipline to direct reports
