Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Quality Supervisor. The position will support our Hodges, South Carolina facility. We are offering relocation assistance.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $93750.03 - $137500.04 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

Job Summary:
Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Supervisor is responsible for the verification of product to requirements/processes, leading the inspection team, quality training, inspection technology specification/selection, problem investigation, discrepant material review, and disposition/recovery.

Job Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership, mentoring, evaluation and development of Process Inspection team.
• Develop, implement, and monitor all relevant procedures described in the Quality Management System (QMS)
• Manage a team of hourly employees in the quality function including directing work and managing performance.
• Maintain accurate records to comply with company and customer record retention requirements.
• Determine, develop, and monitor inspection and verification techniques to meet design requirements, including new product releases for prototype and production products.
• Monitor and create action plans to meet key business metrics including DPPM, Productivity, On-Time Delivery, First Pass Yield.
• Develop methods to eliminate quality problems and improve manufacturing process through collaboration with Manufacturing Engineering, Supplier Quality, Supply Chain Management, and suppliers.
• Work with internal and external customers to interpret or reach agreement on quality procedures and acceptability of products.
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement and the implementation of Lean activities to eliminate waste in key processes.
• Facilitate problem solving, ensure coordination and communication of corrective and preventive actions, and assist the quality manager in system development and maintenance.
• Drive customer and internal corrective action and preventive action for timely and effective completion.
• In collaboration with the Site Quality Manager review, improve & standardize the daily activities and actions necessary to support the key functional initiatives which will drive the organization forward.
• Assure effective communication and reporting to internal and external customers.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 4 years of quality or manufacturing engineering required
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as a manager of people or leading project teams
- Experience of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Experience with industry quality standards (i.e. ISO9001)
- Experience with Lean Tools and Six Sigma and problem-solving tools and techniques (8D, A3, 3-Legged 5 Why).
- Experienced in use of AIAG quality tools to reduce variability and mitigate risk (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, and SPC).
- Electrical and/or Metal Mechanical Industry.
