Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Quality Manager. The position will be based at our facility in Hodges, SC. We are offering relocating assistance for the role.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $108749.97 - $159499.96 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

The Quality Manager will be the driving force behind our plant's quality goals, championing a culture of continuous improvement. You'll leverage the power of EBS tools (EQMS) to propel us towards operational excellence. In this role, you'll plan, execute, and monitor actions that support our quality processes, ensuring we hit our targets. Your efforts will ensure customer satisfaction by keeping a close eye on quality metrics and conducting thorough quality assessments. You'll also spearhead improvements in our quality procedures and develop innovative solutions to boost productivity and reduce product costs. Additionally, you'll plan, develop, and manage operations to maintain optimal levels of in-process and finished goods.

What you'll do:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Direct Quality Personnel: Prioritize and manage quality functions across the plant, ensuring high standards are met.
  • Quality Planning: Oversee quality planning activities throughout the product development and launch cycle.
  • Inspection and Testing Plans: Establish comprehensive inspection and testing plans for product development.
  • ISO/EQMS Audits: Lead internal and external ISO/EQMS audits to maintain compliance and drive improvements.
  • Data Analysis: Develop and analyze statistical data and product/process specifications to establish quality and reliability standards for finished products.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Perform root cause analysis to support problem-solving and continuous improvement efforts, collaborating with various teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Quality Control Documentation: Develop and implement quality control documentation, including Quality Control Plans and Inspection Records.
  • Process Control Plans: Lead the development of key process Control Plans for the plant.
  • Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA): Conduct MSA to identify and eliminate measurement errors, ensuring the correct gauges are used throughout the plant.
  • Eaton Quality Management System (EQMS): Apply EQMS processes and problem-solving tools to drive continuous quality improvement and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Quality Performance Indicators: Analyze and report on quality performance indicators, including CONC, warranty charges/PPM, and final audits.
  • Tailored Development Programs: Ensure all quality personnel complete tailored development programs in alignment with EQS/OpA criteria.
  • Customer Complaints: Manage containment actions and lead CAPA teams for root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Non-Conforming Parts: Oversee the analysis and containment of non-conforming parts, ensuring proper communication and disposition.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement through the accomplishment of KSO/CI assigned projects.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5 years of quality management or quality manufacturing experience
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree on industrial, electrical or electromechanical engineering from an accredited institution

Position Criteria:
• PC knowledge: Microsoft Office, Minitab, Power Bi and AS400.
• Knowledge: Lean Tools, 6 Sigma and SPC.
• ISO 9001/ EQMS Lead Internal Auditor
• Problem Solving
• Pro-Launch tools, 6S Greenbelt, CQE/CQM certified
