The expected annual salary for this role is between 67,500-99,00 with a one-time $6,000 sign on bonus. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
What you'll do:
- Create, communicate or train, and ensure adherence to quality standards, product specifications, work instructions and procedures across a multifunctional manufacturing organization
- Lead cross-functional teams in problem solving and deploying continuous improvement activities, remediation actions and root cause analysis through various quality tools and processes (A3, 8D, 5Why, Ishikawa diagram, etc.)
- Work with Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, and Engineering to manage in-process defects and disposition NCM inventory. Resolve component issues with suppliers
- Implement containment, corrective and preventative actions to ensure product performance and customer satisfaction
- Direct error-proofing efforts and process improvement projects to reduce CONC and increase process yield
- Apply Six Sigma statistical techniques where appropriate to analyze and evaluate production data to make informed decisions
- Develop and maintain PpFMEAs and Process Control Plans
- Communicate with appropriate personnel regarding significant changes, problems, or proposed solutions
- Manifest a quality culture in all activities through quality management system activities and regular audits including Eaton QMS implementation, ISO 9001 audits and related activities, and employee engagement events
- Perform other duties as required
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution, with a graduation date no later than May 2025
- Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.8
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
- An internship/co-op experience in engineering, quality, or operations in a manufacturing setting
- Experience working with Quality tools (Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, 8D, A3, etc.)
- Prior SAP Experience
- Training in problem solving
- Experience with Microsoft power Apps (PBI, teams, planner, etc..)

- Ability to use a variety of computer systems including Microsoft office and assigned technical software

- Ability to effectively present results and recommendations to senior-level executive team
- Ability to read and understand forms, blueprints & schematics, including bills of material, tolerances and special notation.
- Ability to read technical documents and drawings including electrical drawings, one line diagrams, power flow diagrams, mechanical blueprints and other electrical and mechanical drawings
- Ability to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift 0-15 pounds
