Eaton's ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Quality Engineer in El Paso, TX.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $83250.0 - $122100.0 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

What you'll do:

Position Overview: This role is responsible for attaining plant quality goals as well as maintaining and driving a culture of continuous improvement. You will assure plans are implemented and attain results and facilitate and lead process changes for the plant operations. Additionally, deploy the applicable elements and initiatives of the quality management system to accomplish Operational Excellence.

What you will do:
Quality Control and Assurance
• Ensure that all in-process quality-control procedures (inspections, audits, holds, rejections) are carried out and followed up with corrective action.
• Ensure effective implementation of EQMS policies to comply with ISO requirements such as APQP, PPAP process for end products, non-conformities, process and product deviations.
• Champion for Quality policies. Assures deployment and continuous improvement is made.
Audits and Compliance
• Lead and/or assist in supplier-quality processes - audits, surveys, certifications, and communications.
• Become certified as Lead Auditor and lead internal quality audits.
• Coordinates Customer audits, including documenting and tracking corrective actions and improvements related to findings.
Training and Support
• Supervises and trains in the use of problem-solving tools.
• Follow the standards of problem solving tools for any customer issues
• Supports MESH, ELSS, PROLaunch and other Eaton initiatives.
Safety and Industry Initiatives
• Address unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and hazards in your respective work area(s) and evaluate the ensuing correction(s).
• Identify and drive Industry 4.0 initiatives at the site.
• Travels to customer sites to perform containment activities if necessary

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 1 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment
• Minimum of 1 years of working with ISO 9001: 2015 or equivalent ISO auditing processes
• Minimum of 1 years of experience with a stage gate process
• Minimum of 1 years of experience Quality Core Tools (SPC, PPAP, PFMEA, MSA, CPK, APQP, Minitab)
• Fully Bilingual (English / Spanish)
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on an ongoing basis without company sponsorship.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of El Paso, TX will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Electrical, or Electromechanical Engineering, Business Administration or other science from an accredited institution.
• 3 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment
• 3 years of working with ISO 9001: 2015 or equivalent ISO auditing processes
• 3 years of experience with a stage gate process
• 3 years of experience Quality Core Tools (SPC, PPAP, PFMEA, MSA, CPK, APQP, Minitab)
• ISO 9001 Internal Auditor or similar QMS standard qualification
• PowerBI experience
