Eaton's IS AER ITD division is currently seeking a Quality Engineer.
What you'll do:
Job Summary
This Quality Engineer will ensure compliance throughout the organization on major programs from product design through manufacturing and product support.
Primary Responsibilities
• Create and maintain company quality documentation, such as quality manuals, quality procedures, etc.
• Assist Quality manager, in establishing, implementing and maintaining the quality management system.
• Responsible for continual improvement activities to enhance the quality system, such as 5S, Kaizen lean methods, etc.
• Support the Quality Inspectors to ensure that products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system.

• Review and approve changes to Drawings, Specifications, Manufacturing Job Instructions, Travelers, etc. to assure continued compliance to approved data.
• Implement First Time through Quality Metric and measure performance. Track anomalies and create action plans for true root cause.
• Root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action for process related concerns.
• Analyze failure, corrective and preventive action to respond to customer complaints.
• Conduct audits, including closing out audit findings, creating audits finding reports and determine proper corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure timely resolution of supplier failure, corrective actions and preventive actions.
• Manage suppliers' performance and conduct audits.
• Preparation of QA reports.
• Any other duties, as assigned. #LI-DG2
Qualifications:
- Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience in quality (technician or engineering role) Preferable within aerospace or automotive industry.
- Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9000 Preferable
- Intermediate MS Office computer skills Microsoft Word, Excel and others.
- Written and verbal English communications skills.

- Ability to work on a variety of problems of diverse scope and complexity where analysis and evaluation of various outcomes require tradeoffs and negotiation.
- Strong business acumen and strong problem solving skills.

- Proven professional attitude during the execution of an audit or conformity.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite of products.
- Problem solving methodology (5 Why's?, Ishikawa, 8D's, etc.)
