Eaton's ES GEIS CHD division is currently seeking a Quality Engineer. This position is onsite at our Washington, PA facility. Relocation is not provided for this opportunity.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $83250.0 - $122100.0 a year. Please note the salary information shown is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
What you'll do:
The primary responsibilities of this role include leading the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management Systems at the site. You will also drive Continuous Improvement initiatives through the implementation and utilization of Lean Six Sigma tools.
In this role you will:
- Eaton Quality Management System (EQMS): Manage in compliance with international quality and industry standards including ISO9001, UL, CSA, etc. Maintain, upgrade, and control quality manuals, procedures, work instructions, and standard operating procedures. Lead process system development projects.
- Audits: Serve as point of contact between plant and 3rd party auditors, coordinating and execution of audit. Develop internal audit schedule and complete audits per plan.
- Continuous Improvement Lead projects that focus on process improvements, capital investments, cost savings, machine optimizations, and engineering modifications to improve quality and productivity.
- Quality Monitoring: Manage quality notifications. Respond to internal and external nonconformance, including containment, effective root causing, preventive/corrective actions and internal/external supplier communication. Develop and track KPIs to assess performance gaps.
- Material Review Board: Perform Material Review Board activities, including scrap material processing
- Training: Compile and generate training material and conduct training sessions on quality activities
Qualifications:
Basic (Required) Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing environment supporting ISO9001:2015 Quality Management Systems.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship now or in the future.
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of Washington, PA will be considered. Active-duty military members exempt from this geographical limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Thorough understanding of problem-solving methodologies used in determining root cause and formulating corrective action(s) - i.e. 8D, root cause analysis, Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis, control charts, Pareto charts, etc.
- Proven leadership capability with excellent communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
- Previous experience in manufacturing process design and development
- Previous quality management system(s) implementation experience
- Knowledge of the metal stamping process and its quality characteristics and challenges
- Certification by the American Society for Quality as Six Sigma Green/Black Belt or Certified Quality Engineer
