What you'll do:

The primary function of this role is to maintain, and where necessary develop, a robust and effective Quality Management System performing reviews of customer / industry / internal specifications to ensure processes meet / exceed requirements. This position will also be responsible for driving improvements in line with the Quality Leading Indicator (including Quality Best Practices) and Eaton Zero Defect Strategies.
"• Drive Quality Leading Indicators (QLI's) / Quality Best Practices (QBP's) initiatives where required.
• Drive EZDP (Eaton Zero Defect Plan) initiative where required.
• Conduct internal audits i.a.w AS9100.
• Develop and maintain QMS in line with ISO9001 / AS9100 requirements.
• Develop and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare corrective action responses necessary.
• Host Customer / Regulatory Auditors as needed.
• Prepare and present material to customer representatives and / or facility employees as required.
• Provide technical support to both internal and external customers and suppliers as needed.
• Facilitate customer returns and the associated monthly reports.
• Develops process improvement and cost control programs throughout the plant.
• Formulate and implement quality assurance procedures, policies, and standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree (2:1) is preferable. Relevant practical experience shall be considered in lieu of formal Qualifications.

Skills:

No experience necessary, relevant placements will be favourable.
"Applies basic knowledge of engineering principles and practices to assigned tasks.
Proficient in technical skill sets associated with areas of work.
Pursues education/learning opportunities to fill knowledge gaps."
Ability to work as part of a team, take a leading role or individually. Organised and able to multi task. Proactive and often creating standard work instructions. Good communication skills.
