Eaton's IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Quality Analyst. This position is based at our Indianapolis, IN distribution center.

The Quality Analyst is responsible for monitoring and maintaining quality standards across the logistics center, ensuring that all processes related to the receiving, handling, and shipping of auto parts comply with established quality specifications. This position involves data analysis, process auditing, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality performance. This role will work closely with the quality engineering team, warehouse operations, customers and suppliers to resolve quality-related issues and prevent recurrence.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $65250.0 - $95700.0 a year.

What you'll do:

  • Analyze quality data, identifying trends and areas for improvement within logistics operations.
  • Conduct process audits to ensure compliance with company quality standards and external regulations.
  • Monitor the quality of incoming parts, ensuring they meet predefined specifications before being stocked or shipped.
  • Support corrective and preventive action (8D Analysis) processes by investigating root causes and proposing solutions to quality issues.
  • Collaborate with the supplier quality team to address non-conformities related to parts from external and internal suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records related to quality audits, inspections, and corrective actions.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as scrap, defect rates, resolution times, and audit results.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and continuous improvement projects.
  • Provide training and guidance to warehouse staff on quality standards and best practices.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in applying quality tools in a manufacturing or logistics center environment.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship both now and in the future
  • No relocation is available for this position. Only candidates that reside within 50 miles of Indianapolis, IN will be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two (2) years or higher of experience in applying quality tools in a manufacturing or logistics center environment.
  • Bachelors Degree in Quality Management and/or Industrial Engineering

Skills:

  • Knowledge of quality control systems, quality standards, and audit techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in using data analysis tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, WISPER etc.)
  • Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS), ISO 9001 standards, and related quality methodologies.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a fast-paced logistics environment.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to lead investigations into root cause analysis.
  • Self-Motivated individual who is highly organized and capable of collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve assigned projects and tasks
