We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer for Medium Voltage portfolio. You will be responsible to deliver high end support to our sales team, application engineers and customers by carrying out project deliveries of medium voltage portfolio - power quality, power controls and energy storage for emergency and sustainability market. The position is home office based and you will be part of the energetic, international and very diverse team.

What you'll do:

  • Proactively providing the highest level of customer service and liaising closely with external and internal stakeholders
  • Developing sound business relationships with clients based on quality of service, integrity, and Eaton values.
  • Providing pre-sales and post-sales support to the sales team in the early identification, assessment, tracking and resolution of technical/engineering risk and management of those risks to margin.
  • Managing client quality/specification compliance data and using specification compliance data knowledge (e.g. Compliance/Deviation/Exception statement) to limit scope creep and help drive change orders.
  • Good technical familiarity with the Eaton product range and the ability to leverage this knowledge within the Eaton team.
  • Managing the production of manufacturing drawings for client approval. Managing production of initial Technical Submissions.
  • This position involves gaining access to client sites which can involve security clearance and drug screenings.
  • Possess and maintain a valid driving licence, legally authorised to work in the UK and EU.

Qualifications:

  • Electrical engineering knowledge - bachelor's degree or HND/C level qualification or equivalent in electrical engineering desirable
  • Proven years of experience in Medium Voltage electrical industry

Skills:

  • Detailed knowledge of: LV switchgear, MV switchgear, transformers, BMS/SCADA systems, UPS systems
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Excellent skills in using Microsoft Office,
