Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Program Manager II. This is a hybrid position that takes place out of Peachtree City, GA. We are able to offer relocation assistance for qualified candidates within the United States.

Reporting directly to the RWD PMO Manager, this position is responsible for management of NPI, VAVE, and STP projects and programs driven by the Engineering Team for the Residential Wiring Devices (RWD) business in Eaton ARS (Assemblies & Residential Solutions). The Program Manager leads the project planning, execution, requirements change, risk mitigation, risk planning, and action tracking. This will include the use of the Prolaunch Tool, Design and Process knowledge, Multi-Generational Product Planning (MGPP), industrialization and Management of Change. In addition, this position will assist the operations team in product transitioning as well as supporting large transfers of lines and processes between Plants.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $91500.03 - $134200.04 a year.

What you'll do:

  • Accountability for project scope and successful execution within technical, schedule, cost and quality commitments.
  • Establishes objectives, goals, and provides direction to the program and project teams in areas of customer needs, potential changes in scope and risk assessment.
  • Ensures the PROLaunch team creates and maintains the Activity Matrix deliverables and leads the Program team during phases and Gate Review events
  • Ensure standard program management processes are utilized and adequate support to the program and project teams by coordinating PM reviews, preparing & publishing PM metrics and reports.
  • Works in cross-disciplinary manner with other departments (e.g., Manufacturing, Marketing, Procurement, Customer Support, Suppliers, etc.) and facilitates the PROLaunch processes.
  • Coordinates all risks and requirements of the program by planning, controlling, integrating all projects into the programs and measuring all elements to ensure the requirements and goals are successfully achieved through team meetings.
  • Financial acumen to complete required capital appropriation request for the assigned programs.
  • Communicates timely project status to internal leaders and manufacturing teams with OCM (Organizational Change Management) tools.
  • Working to understand the project impact to the business and identify the impact of project changes on the portfolio.
  • Completes other duties as assigned on a timely and effective matter.
  • Drives the implementation of company standard tools to improve Program Management performance at the site, such as ProPM.
  • Guide newly less experienced PMs that join the WD organization.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in manufacturing, program management, and leadership of project teams.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on an ongoing basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) accreditation (PMP)

Skills:

  • Knowledge of product design and Six Sigma Methodologies.
  • Senior level knowledge of Program and Project Management methodologies, processes and tools.
  • Proficient communication and presentation skills - both verbal and written with ability to make necessary status reports and technical presentations to Eaton management and customer.
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
  • Achieve goals by working collaboratively and cross-functionally.
  • Capable of working effectively in diverse cultural situations with our global team members.
  • Capable of initiating and providing recommendations for Business Unit and Division senior leadership review and approval that will achieve desired outcomes.
  • Previous experience as a manager of people or a direct manager of a core project team.
